So just three episodes out so far on Prime, and I binged. Fun show, I like the music, it (and Larroquette) reminds me of the Librarians. So, when do you think that it will come out that Lexi's dad is still alive and is the evil one behind everything? (Just my personal theory so far).

There have only been 4 episodes so far (and the Curse of Cleopatra aired as one 2 hour segment), so Prime isn't that far behind. Glad you like it! When I posted the first message and didn't get a response for 10 days I started to think either I was liking something that most people thought was bad (not the first time that has happened grin ) or that people had just tuned out after the regular season ended and didn't know it was there.

So have you actually watched Rim of the World?

I did watch Rim of the World. Not amazing, but better than average. It was fun and kept my attention through it... and I kept thinking about our game and crew smile

‘Blood & Treasure’ Renewed For Season 2 By CBS

The network has renewed the action-adventure series starring Matt Barr and Sofia Pernas for a second season to air in 2020. The pickup comes midway through the show's first run, which has pulled in steady if unspectacular ratings so far.

The series, which premiered May 21, is currently the No. 1 new summer scripted series with 5.71 million viewers. It has improved its time period by +17% over the same time slot in summer 2018.

“’Blood & Treasure’ is a fun, escapist adventure with comedic elements filmed in multiple locales around the world that has been a great performer and a wonderful addition to our summer schedule,” said Amy Reisenbach, executive vice president of current programs at CBS Entertainment. “We’ve heard the story pitch for season two and look forward to seeing all-new exploits from Russia to Southeast Asia next year.”

So last night I finished watching the first season. Anyone else finish Season 1?

I have always been a fan of Matt Barr (who plays Danny) so it was fun watching him in another show. Lexi (Sofia Pernas) brought a fun lightness to her role that I really enjoyed. Through most of the season I looked forward to the next episode and the story progressing.

That said, the last two episodes were a bit darker than the first part of the season, and I did not enjoy them as much. The show started out as a fun romp around the world, battling modern-day Nazis, terrorists, and finding lost treasures. What more could I ask for? Well... the last few episodes were more gritty with twists thrown in that I feel they could have left out.

Two of my three favorite characters were caught up in these twists and became less enjoyable.

SPOILERS
Okay, I love John Larroquette, and seeing him as an upstanding background character who was there for Danny (and Lexi as the show progressed) was great! He was charming! The twist that was thrown in... it made me sad when he became a murderous badguy. And a rather cowardly one at that! Grrr!

The other one, Simon Hardwick (played by James Callis) was a great enigmatic character. I liked wondering what his angle was, and what his background might eventually evolve into in further seasons. Making him the mastermind behind the terrorists took away a lot from his potential.

As the show is moving forward towards Season 2, I think both of these characters would have been great additions to further story lines. The both served as background characters through the first part of Season 1, and it was always fun to see them on screen. Sigh.

I am still looking forward to Season 2, but not as much as I was earlier on in the show. Don, thanks for turning me on to this show. I wish we could have discussed the entire first season, instead of just a few episodes.

So did anyone else watch the entire first season? Thoughts?
