Is the aim to keep the thread going as long as possible, by using as well known actors or films as possible, or to try and snooker the other players with an obscure choice?

WELCOME TO THE NEVER-ENDING MOVIE CHAIN

The rules are simple:
1) Someone mentions an Actor - name a movie (one not used in the last six moves) that that person has appeared in
2) The next person will choose an actor that appeared in that movie (one not used in the last six moves)
3) The next person will choose another movie that the actor appeared in (one not used in the last six moves)
4) Keep the chain going for as long as possible and have fun!

Excellent, and I just found Exeter's advice too.

Oh, and the idea is not to stump everyone but to keep the chain going for as long as possible. We play this one on road trips and I don't know why I didn't think to start this up here years ago. It is perfect for the online community because you can jump in whenever and wherever or as often as you want.

This cropped up because I was going to choose Blues Brothers for Dan Aykroyd, but then realised that would likely lead to John Belushi, and I guess Animal House, but the other currently well known actors in that film were so young at the time, I doubted anyone would remember them.

So I thought, I know, I'll choose Blues Brothers 2000, because people should at least remember John Goodman as the other Blues Brother in that one.
