Davroar climbs to the ceiling and tries to use his spider sense blindsight to see targets. He can sense 4 targets that are standing up. One is down. There's also his flaming sphere. He deduces that the target furthest away is a bugbear. He hides up in the ceiling of the hallway.
As Luminmorn struggles against the webs that entwine him in the darkness the bugbear next tries to attack him. The head of the morningstar only hits air. The bugbear moves away from the heat of the flaming sphere within the darkness, simply changing his flanking of Luminmorn.
Bugbear-5 Attacks Luminmorn with normal attack. Neptune rolled 1d20+4,1d20+4,2d8+2 and got 16, 21, 9
She had seen the old monk sink to the floor of the cavern and then everything go dark, so Ryssa was determined to move to Chandan's side. Running forward toward the place she'd last seen Chandan, Ryssa held up her Mace of the Morninglord and, just as she entered the darkness, she prayed that her deity, Lathander, would light the area through his mace.
DM Ryssa finds her way blocked by people. Most are her allies and when they realize what she's doing, they let her pass. As she enters the darkness, her mace sheds light where there was none.
OOC: Let me describe things a bit. A single move gets her to the end of the hallway. To enter the darkness, she needs a second move, which she can do. I assume the double move. She'll be able to enter the darkness and illuminate it because the mace. We'll take this turn step by step because of the reveals. Here's what she and everyone else will see when the darkness is overcome. You need to move her now but remember opportunity attacks are in play. Also, Bugbear-4 is asleep. Bugbear-5 and the Drow are not.
Her mace generated a warm, glowing light and, as she moved around and between her companions, she saw the bugbear and the drow. She angled to the left, and looked from the enemies to Chandan and back.
Do we know whether Chandan is dead? From where I moved Ryssa to, can she cast her flame cantrip?
From where I moved Ryssa to, can she cast her flame cantrip?
The assumption was that you were doing a double move to get to Chandan. If you do one move, I revealed what I should not have revealed and you stop, you don't extinguish light. We are back to black which means you can't target with your sacred flame cantrip which means you can't use it. If you do the double move it means you can't take any other actions. So either way, no.
Exeter: If you end your turn where you stopped, you take fire damage from the flaming sphere. Any path including this one, you end up with an opportunity attack against you. So be it. I'm rolling...
Flaming sphere damage for ending turn adjacent to it - Dex save DC 15 for 1/2 damage Neptune rolled 2d6 and got 6
Bugbear Opportunity attack on Ryssa Neptune rolled 1d20+4,2d8+2 and got 21, 16
If you make your Dex save you take 19 point of damage, otherwise 22.
DM After Ryssa runs into the room and her mace illuminates it, the drow realizes that the best thing for him to do is to make a hasty retreat. He run through the doors to the south. As he leaves the proximity of Ryssa's mace, the darkness which he had cast and is concentrating on maintaining is restored around him.
Everyone can now see that Chandan has broken out of his webs and is standing but he's in very bad shape. From the looks of him he's on death's door. He takes a step towards the door, but weak as he is, he doesn't want to encounter the spiders that are blocking his way so he stops, hoping that others will pick up the chase.
Luminmorn now sees what's going on and tries, but fails to break free of the webs that restrain him. Lumi break out of webs Neptune rolled 1d20+3 and got 8
OOC: It's Kriv's turn.

Running as far and as quick as she could, the scion of Lathander saw that she was in a dangerous spot. However, she did not see a place within reach where she'd be much safer.
Ryssa clenched her teeth and managed not to sound out her pain as she was injured. She needed to be closer to the old monk, and as far away as possible from their adversaries and the flame.
But she was not sure how that would be possible.
Ryssa DEX Save: 1d20+2 = 10 Nep, if there's a place she could've gotten to in a double move which would be closer to Chandan and no worse off as to the adversaries, please locate Ryssa there
OOC: Based on the tactical, she could have moved further in a number of different way but each change would completely changed the outcome. I am not going to unravel everything.
With one bugbear almost dead and out cold, Kriv deftly sidestepped around the enwebbed Luminmorn, passing between him and Ryssa to get to the healthy bugbear. He strove to draw its attention away from more vulnerable targets, but didn't cause much actual harm.
Kriv Maul bugbear 5 AJ rolled 1d20+7,1d6,1d6 and got 14, 3, 6
Kriv Extra attack Maul bugbear 5 AJ rolled 1d20+7,1d6,1d6 and got 15, 1, 1
After the drow escapes from the chamber, Kriv tries to kill the one living, awake bugbears. Unfortunately the furry foe avoids the dragonborn's weapon. Then the two spiders shoot Chandan and Ryssa with their webs. Ryssa ducks under the glob but poor Chandan finds himself restrained once again.
Another round.... Giant Spider-2, Giant Spider-5 recharge web (5-6) Neptune rolled 1d6,1d6 and got 6, 5
Giant Spider-2 web Chandan Neptune rolled 1d20+5 and got 19 - hit
Giant Spider-5 web Ryssa Neptune rolled 1d20+5 and got 15 - Misses
DM Bern, from a distance, fires his arrows at the bugbears. One is awake, the other snoring. The arrow that hits strikes the one that is awake. It sneers but shows no sign of backing off.
OOC: If you want, roll another d20+9 to see if you also hit the sleeping one. Since he's asleep, you have advantage on that attack. Maybe you'll roll higher than a natural 2
Jaliera hears the twang of arrows coming from behind her. Bern shot the shot both the bugbear standing in front of her and also the one asleep on the ground and both arrows hit their targets. The sleeping bugbear wakes up for a moment and tries to stand, only to topple backwards to the ground, dead. Jaliera and Whisper are up.
DM Whisper flies away from harm and then Jaliera aims her arrow at the spiders that guard the exit from which the drow known as the Black Spider had fled from. The arrow strikes a nearly fatal blow on the giant spider that she targeted. It is gravely wounded, but not dead.
