Glad to have these tentacle monsters killed, he will remain on the ground looking around the rubble to see if where these gricks were hiding has anything of value while the rest of the group decides which way to go.

DM You are in the northern end of the large cavern. At the edge of your light source you can also see that this is the upper level of the cavern and that the steps at the edge of the southern escarpment lead down.
Davroar's search of the rubble in this area does not result in finding anything of interest. Nothing seems to be of much interest until Jaliera enters the cavern. That is when she senses something - arcane energy.
As Jaliera focuses on the magical energy, she senses that it gets stronger as she approaches the man-made structures.
OOC: Gypsy, no need for a roll. It surprised me, but that's how the mod's written. Only someone trained in Arcana would sense the magic. Maybe they wanted you to roll there, but I decided that you made the roll with an easy DC if that was the case.
Ex. Yeah, I'm mainly concerned with Ryssa's healing powers. I think that you're correct.
He moved into the cavern offering light to his companions that need it. He tries to just look around and listen. His armor prevents him from being truly stealthy, but it also keeps him alive. He doesn't mind that trade off.
I haven't been around, so not sure about the spell use. But if this is a new day, likely he hasn't used any, nor his allotted Lay on Hands points.
ooc: The new day began with the start of this long thread so, no, it's not the start of a new day. You took a short rest in between but that doesn't regain spells for you. You can trace your posts (I use the "thread options/print thread" function) to see what you've cast and how many lay-on-hands you've used.
ooc:Well technically the Warlock slots reset for a short rest. But if it is the same day, then I think all of Lumi's lay on hands are used, and two of his first level spells. I can check his sheet, I was pretty good about updating it with his usage.

"That seems a bit reckless", he told Jaliera. "Perhaps a bit more study might make it safer. It's not like we are in a hurry. We have plenty of 'fresh meat'", he said with a wicked smile as he waved his hand to indicate the carcasses.
He stood nearby offering light. At Bern's comment he flicks his tongue testing the air. He had eaten many things over the years living in the wild. But he hadn't ever eaten these tentacle things.

He prods the dead grick with his toe and thanks his friends once more.
The wizened old monk looks around following Jaliera's comments but doesn't sense anything magical himself.
If it's coming from behind the door he stands beside, Chandan is eager to investigate. A magical aura means active magic, and that might be a sign of the Black Spider's presence. Where the Black Spider is, the Gundren's second dwarf brother might be also.
So Chandan throws the end of his saffron silk scarf over his shoulder and readies his spear.
"Shhh. Is OK. I will have a peek!" He says, and does what he says, peeking around the door if possible.
The double doors are singed and cracked, the hinges are partial melted but the door, because of the damage, is very slightly ajar. It will take some brute force to open the doors to peek inside. OOC: Strength check needed, DC 15. Are you trying?
Dropping his maul and staff for the moment, the Dragonborn pulled a crowbar from his pack, and applied its leverage as best he could, using the other door as a fulcrum.
With a brief nod to the vagrant,
"You're likely right on the noise, but that can't be helped. Not all strength needs to be brutal, however."
He silently gritted his teeth, and applied force where it would have the greatest effect.

OOC: To answer Mike's question, look at the attached graphic. It's all that I have. I would say there's a roof 20 feet up. Also, I'm assuming that you're opening the double doors (there's a single door north but Chandan was at the double doors) in my next post.
