Calling upon his patron The Great Dragon, he drew Eldritch energy in and focused it out on one of the Hobgoblins battling with the monk.

The swirling knives are a surprise as they suddenly appear around him, slicing him in several places. Not wanting to stay any second longer he ducks out of the way and moving past Kriv and cornering the shaman to strike at him with his quarterstaff.

Luminmorn again uses his new Warlock skill, this time hitting the previously wounded Hobgoblin and putting it down. Davroar steps free of the spinning daggers and strikes at the Shaman with his staff, hitting him with a solid blow and breaking his concentration. The spinning daggers vanish once more. (OOC - Just need Ryssa's Cantrip, but Jaliera can go. Note the situation is the same. She can only hide if she first disengages, and to disengage she'd have to forgo an attack.)Status:

Moving one step further, she spotted a target and launched a ball of Sacred Flame at it.
Ryssa's Sacred Flame: 1d8 = 7
Applied the damage to the post above. Jaliera goes.

This is not a time for a faint heart. She knows there is help behind her as an arrow flashed past just a moment ago, Bern she suspects, and she is glad. These new friends are definitely proving their worth.
So she decides not to hide but instead to confront HobGob7 and stand her ground, attacking with her sword. She hopes that Chandan is holding his own in the room to her right and that Davroar and the others are coping in the room to her left. If she and Bern can contain the threat her, then they may indeed be able to rescue Gundren, which is why they came here. She hopes he is OK, another reason to keep the hobgoblins focused their way.

"Luminmorm, I think that dwarf is the one we seek!" He says to the dragonman, as he's tangling with the hobgoblin, spinning, dodging, and riposting with his spear to its belly and a horse kick under its chin.
As soon as the doorway is clear, he rushes in to care for the stricken dwarf.
[Chandan hits for 14 damage total]
DM - Chandan kills the Hobgoblin blocking the doorway, freeing entrance to the room for Luminmorn.

He took the monk at his word. He turned and ran past the monk into the room towards the dwarf lying on the floor. When he arrived at the dwarf, his hand glowed with the light of the Great Dragon and passed some of the gift of healing on to the fallen dwarf.
Lay on hands, 5pts healed. Unless 1 pt is good enough. I forget what the rule is for 5th edition.
DM - 1 Point is all that is needed to bring someone back from unconsciousness and have them stop having to make Death Saves. Here is the rule:
Lay on Hands: Your blessed touch can heal wounds. You have a pool of healing power that replenishes when you take a long rest. With that pool, you can restore a total number of hit points equal to your paladin level x 5. As an action, you can touch a creature and draw power from the pool to restore a number of hit points to that creature, up to the maximum amount remaining in your pool.
I am not sure if Luminmorn used any of his Lay on Hands points yet today. If not, he still has 14 points left (5 points per level, 3rd level Paladin, = 15 total per day).

Chandan kills the last Hobgoblin blocking the way into the room. At his call, Luminmorn rushes inside.
Kriv is still up, but Bern can also go.
Note: The party is in three distinct groups now, and none of the groups know what is happening with any of the other groups, nor can they hear what is said within those groups. Please do not act on information your pc wouldn't have. The only exception is Jaliera, who can concentrate on Whisper to discover what is happening with Davroar, Ryssa, and Kriv.

I edited the dwarf's nameplate. You should be able to see it now.
And, yes, you saw Gundren come running out of the north, being chased by 2 Hobgoblins. He ran past and is now hiding behind you. He appears beaten to within an inch of his life, bruised and bloody.
Separately, and where Bern and Jaliera can't see or hear, Chandan and Luminmorn see the dwarf that was struck down by King Grol lying beneath the table inside the room. Chandan thinks he looks like Gundren and asked Luminmorn to tend to him.
That was the reason for my earlier Note. Please act based only on the information your pc knows.

Had he allowed the Owl to distract him the Shaman would have gained advantage on his attacks against him, and OAs if he tries to move away. That said, he should be aware the Owl is there and wants him to follow it. I can't make him go. As for being aware of Chandan, it is similar. Chandan and Luminmorn are 30-40 feet away, in a fight with Hobgoblins, and Jaliera is facing two enemies who are both swinging weapons at her. I don't think she can afford to take the time to check out what is happening with Chandan, other than a general recognition that he is still up and alive. If you want Jaliera to turn her head and try to figure out what is happening with Chandan and Luminmorn, just let me know, but it would grant the foes fighting her advantage on their attacks as she would be distracted.)

Chandan kills the last Hobgoblin in the room and at his call to Luminmorn, the dragonborn Paladin rushes into the room. Placing his hand on the dwarf's chest a soft, golden glow passes from Luminmorn to the dwarf, who takes a large gasp of air and begins to breathe once more. Now close up, Luminmorn can see that the dwarf does indeed look like Gundren. Bern sees Gundren run past him and fires at the two foes attacking Jaliera. He misses the Hobgoblin but his second arrow strikes King Grol. Davroar once again notes that Jaliera's Owl, Whisper, has been fluttering nearby. Now that he is not in hand to hand combat he can safely focus on what it wants. Notes on vision: Jaliera is aware the Shaman is dead (via Whisper) and both Bern and Jaliera are aware Chandan and Luminmorn have killed the last Hobgoblin they were fighting as the sounds of combat from there have ceased.
Luminmorn can only see Chandan.
Chandan can see Jaliera fighting two foes, and Luminmorn kneeling over the dwarf he thinks might be Gundren, but he can't see Bern or the other dwarf.
Ryssa, Davroar, and Kriv can't see any of the others though faint sounds of combat come from the east. They all can see Whisper.

"Another down, thanks Kriv."
He heard someone call from the other room and what sounds like fighting. Now seeing that Whisper is here and not with Jaliera, he assumes something bad is happening over there and exclaims more to himself than anyone else, "Jaliera!"
Not wasting any time he will run over to see what he can do to help.
