[I'll carry over my second roll from prev round if that's OK? It went unused.]
Chandan
Unexpectedly, the archer runs into the fray to defend a blonde woman in white steel armour, leaving Chandan momentarily at a loose end.
The dragonman fighting steadfastly against two of the masked foes, but without Lingo's friend at his side, there's the chance Chandan would be mistaken as a foe by all three combatants.
So the wizened old monk decides to stay close to the archer until these strangers know whose side Chandan's on.
He charges in with his spear, reeking of alcohol, planting the tip in one of the cultist's feet then jumping into a back kick.
[17, 22 to hit C3. 4, 5 damage for 9 damage in total.]
Pleased to see Bern move up alongside her, she stabbed at the cultist the ranger did not target and then cast a spell of healing which, she thought, should affect her, Bern, Luminmorn and the new one (Kallista) who seemed to be on their side.
(OOC - Ex - OK, yes, you are correct about the Disciple of Life, so it is +8 not +6, however Healing Word can only be targeted on a single creature. I will presume you still choose Bern. Kallista is out of sight for you at the moment in any case.
Now we have a second item, though. Ryssa's attack roll is a Crit, so please roll another d4 for damage. No plusses, just a second d4.)
(OOC - OK, a few minor issues of people attacking enemies who were killed by those who went before them but posted after them. I will adjust. Also need Ryssa's additional d4 damage roll.)
Kriv steps forward, growling some frustration at the group's choice to fight the dragon, but supporting his comrades. He strikes hard at Venomfang with his maul, and hits the dragon a solid blow on it's snout.
Bern, seeing Ryssa take a serious blow, steps closer to her and fires several arrows at those enemies she is fighting, killing one and wounding another.
Chandan decides that the safest place for him, to not take "friendly fire", is to stick close to the Ranger. He intended to attack the foe closest to him, but a well placed arrow by the Ranger takes that enemy down. So the old monk steps forward, striking then next enemy in line with his spear, dropping that enemy to the ground, and then moves back to be close to Lingo's friend.
As Ryssa moves to attack, the situation to her front has changed dramatically. Where a moment ago she was fighting 3 enemies on her own, and had just taken a deep wound, now there is only 1 enemy, and that enemy is prone. Not letting that advantage pass her by, she strikes at the remaining foes near her, and returns a blow just as deep as the one she recently took herself. At the same time she offers a prayer and speaks a word of Healing, directing the effect to the badly hurt Bern (need an additional d4 roll for the Crit damage to add to the 3 you already rolled. I applied the 3. If you roll a 4 on the extra d4 this one dies).
(OOC - As soon as Ryssa resolves the extra die, C4 & C5 go)

(OOC - AJ - Note before finishing the round that the Dragon is surrounded by a Faerie Fire spell which means Kriv's attacks are with Advantage. You hit on your first attack, but you can roll another d20 to see if you can get a crit. You missed on your second attack, but again you get another roll to see if you can hit. So please roll 2 more attack rolls, 1 for each attack, and we'll see if we need to adjust things.)
The two remaining cultists hesitate after seeing several of their comrades die all at once, but Favric shouts at them, "Fight you lousy bums or I'll feed you to Venomfang!"
The two steady, and attack with renewed purpose. The one that Ryssa struck so hard, strikes back at her while the other one stabs at Luminmorn.
The dragon born growls at the pain from the wound he takes. He calls upon the Great Dragon and channels that power into the strike at his foe. Golden light radiates from Talon's blade as it cuts into his foe.

This is not where he wants to be, standing less than twenty feet away from an angry green dragon. Yet, with Kalista looking badly injured, Davroar decides to shape change into the largest brown bear he can manage to gain the dragons attention as he lets out a large roar and then rushes in to attack.
Davroar Bite attack with advantage Dugan rolled 1d20+5,1d20+5 and got 19, 11
Davroar Bite damage Dugan rolled 1d8+4 and got 10
Davroar Claw attack with advantage Dugan rolled 1d20+5,1d20+5 and got 11, 16
Davroar charges forward, changing form. A large brown bear swings heavy paws and bites at the glowing dragon. It's claws slide off the heavy green scales, but the sharp teeth penetrate into the dragon's foreleg.
Standing her ground, even though she is badly wounded, the Tiefling Sorceror spits out a word of magic and 3 blue bolts of magical force lash out, striking the dragon in quick succession.
Kallista Magic Missile Zeim rolled 3d4+3 and got 9
The dragon rears back, and angrily finishes what it started by slashing and biting at Kallista. It's first claw just grazes the Tiefling, but the second claw strikes true and draws her into its gaping maw as the bite crushes her. The dragon shakes it's head and Kallista's body drops to the ground in two separate pieces.
Venomfang takes a deep breath, but growls in frustration. Looking at the situation in front of it, it snarls, "Scum! You have not heard the last of me!"
It then springs up into the air and takes flight.
(OOC - Kriv and Davroar can take an Opportunity Attack. That is one single attack roll. If you get multiple attacks you can choose which one to use. After the OAs are resolved, Favric will go.)

So died Kallista: Of all of them, her pragmatism had usually appealed more than did the idealism of the humans, barring this last aberration which had drawn them into this battle. Still, there was an opportunity for both vengeance, spite and perhaps a little manipulation as well, taking an enemy's name in vain. As he swung his maul at the retreating monster, he proclaimed,
"In the name of the Spider, we'll see you suffer first!"
Kriv Opportunity attack with advantage AJ rolled 1d20+5,1d20+5 and got 11, 18

His heart seems to stop as he watches Kallista fall under the dragons attack. He failed her as he thought he could get the dragons attention away from her. The fight in him leaves quickly as his last attempt to claw at the dragon is a feeble one, missing it completely.
Davroar OA claw attack on retreating dragon Dugan rolled 1d20+5,1d20+5 and got 6, 7 - really dice roller!
Kriv's maul smashes the Dragon's leg as it lifts off the ground, but Davroar's swipes with his bear's claws miss. The dragon gains altitude and swings off to the east.
Favric shouts, "No! Come back! Don't leave! We can still win!" He turns back to Luminmorn and slashes at the Dragonborn again, but his desperate attack misses.

He was =not= going to let that damned dragon get away for free! While he might have been mad at Lingo more often than not, he was a friend and part of their group! He fired at the dragon ...
Bern fire at dragon MikeD rolled d20+7,d8+3 and got 26, 5
The dragon is out of his range and he watches the archer's arrow fly, half expecting it to hit the monsterous reptile in the eye and it plummet from the sky.
He doesn't know what Venomfang has done to Kallista or even Lingo, but Chandan won't stand idly by whilst evil is done or escapes. And the cultist leader seems to be in league with it, inciting it to more mayhem!
It is clear to the monk,, in his own pidgin vernacular, that Favric is a 'bad guy'.
He thrusts his spear at the lesser cultist, then punches a fist at Favric, shouting "Pummelling water whip!"
[Chandan rolls 23 to hit C4, doing 5 damage.
Chandan does 23 damage vs Favric. Favric can Dex save for half damage and avoid being knocked prone]
Peering through the dense undergrowth, he saw that the uniformed group consisted of two badly wounded, surrounded and massively outnumbered individuals. Getting off a clear shot would be difficult, and his participation had been half-hearted at best, save when those with whom he travelled had been engaged directly. So, with the matter seemingly in hand, he headed over to the upper half of Kallista, to see if any faint spark of life temporarily remained, and to ensure her remains were treated respectfully.
(OOC - Ryssa, Luminmorn and Davroar can act. C4 is dead. Favric is barely up. The Dragon was hit by Bern's arrow but continues to fly away and will be out of range after this round. MikeD, there are Abilities/Powers/Feats that can grant a Crit on a 19, but I don't believe Bern has any of those.)
With Ryssa's dagger blow, Favric drops to the ground, dead.
All the enemies have been killed or fled. The hilltop and surroundings are littered with bodies, including those of your companions.
Balthazar's body lies on the trail half-way up the hill. Kallista lies on the road at the bottom of the hill, and Lingo lies at the base of the tower. Kallista's and Lingo's bodies lie in multiple pieces. Balthazar's is in one piece, but is blackened all over by the poison that killed him.
The two groups have a moment now, as combat ends, to examine, and perhaps question each other.
In addition to deciding what to do with your friends and their equipment, there are other bodies to search and the Dragon's lair to examine.

With perhaps surprising delicacy and care, the Dragonborn retrieved the lower half of the Tiefling, and placed it with the upper. He closed her eyes for the final time, and looked around for something suitable with which to cover her.
