"Wanna let me figure out what potion is? Maybe it'll get Lumi back on his feet".

If given the opportunity, he'll take the proverbial sip.

(OOC - Without waiting for the agreement it is a Potion of Healing. It would help heal Luminmorn's physical damage but won't do anything for the Paralysis from the poison. That said someone needs to either take it or add it to their pc sheet.)

Well you will need to reroll since you rolled incorrect dice. I doubt your class gets d20's for it's hit dice <g>, so maybe it'll work out better this time?

The incapacitated paladin sits there, yet his body recovers.

7, and 11, so like Bern had to burn two dice to heal completely.

(OOC - As I mentioned above, the hour has passed. Luminmorn has recovered. This is the last chance for Lingo and Balthazar to use their healing dice. Else we move ahead with both of them partly damaged. If you decide to move on now, please make sure to note how many healing dice you have left for today and how many spells you've used.)

Code:
Name Init HP Dam Status

Bern 20 28 0 Normal
Balthazar 20 25 6 Normal
Lingo 14 22 11 Normal
Ryssa 10 26 0 Normal
Luminmorn 2 31 0 Normal

[[ assuming I got it right ... 3rd lvl - 2 used = 1 left ]]

<Bern>

He made sure that he collected what he could from the dead elf. He would let the others worry about the 'spoils'. He was interested in anything that might be helpful in identification ... the sword, dagger and any identifiable jewelry. He hoped, against all odds, that he might be able to find his clan and let them know. Then he worked to build a cairn over the body to keep it ... in case.

"Are we ready", he asked his companions.

"Well I feel better now." A human might have apologized for being less than helpful in the last battle, but he wasn't human. Being a dragonborn, what happened, happened. The long dragon memory offered a perspective of things that most didn't understand. Individuals came and went, but The Great Dragon lived on. One did what one could. It was that way in the Green world as well.

"Glad to hear it. You had us worried", he said with a grin.

The halfling takes a moment to bind his wounds and stop the bleeding. After this little battle he's not sure if they should continue on and go after the dragon. It's not smart to do so in a less than perfect conditions.

Lingo healing dice
Neptune rolled 2d8+2 and got 11

Balthazar

He has been resting and studying his spell book while he waits for the fighter to heal and recover, glancing over occasionally at the others.

OOC: No idea what he has left but I have mostly been using the 0 level firebolt.

He sees Balthazar glance towards him and the halfling first smiles and then, without a hint of shyness or decorum walks over to the mage and says, "Hey wiz, so whatcha know about dragons? We're gonna go after one now and I ain't never seen one. I think we better put our heads together and figure out how to kill it before it kills us. I was thinking, if you blast some sort of spell at it, I don't want to be caught in your fireworks display. Can we come up with a plan?"

[[ Ken, the other question is: are you using any of your recovery dice to heal damage (it looks like you are currently down 6) before we move on ... and regardless, how many recovery dice do you have left (1 die per level ... you can use up to that many per day) ]]

(OOC - Ken, I reviewed the thread and you have used Misty Step and Web here, in addition to numerous Firebolts. So according to my calculations you still have 4 1st level spells but 0 2nd level spells left for today.

Now, the group needs to decide how to proceed. Lingo asked a pertinent question.)

"Well I thought the plan was to check out that main building to the north."

He pauses as he glances up at the sun ...

Balthazar

The young mage looks up from his book with a slightly startled expression as he had been deep in his study.

"Dragons? Oh, I know a fair amount. Mostly that they should be avoided. They have the ability to breath on you with varied affects. Fire, poison, cold, lightning and so on. They also have sharp claws and fangs and their natural armor is quite good. Frankly I am not very confident that my spells will be effective against it but I will do what I can of course." he said with a shrug.

"Why are we talking about dragons? I thought that the question of the moment was ... do we relax and enjoy the evening here or do we continue on and see it we can persevere or die before the morrow."

[[thanks Zeim]]
