Well for the record I am happy to take a PM conversation or a separate thread one if a PC or PCs want a conversation. Just have to ask.

The only thing I would suggest is that a timeslot is agreed that this can happen in so that it doesn't take precedence over the main thread. Lia & Cesare are talking quietly together late evening in the inn the night before. GM is copied in and we have agreed not to do or say anything that willl affect the current timeline. Folks dozing in the main room may well be aware a conversation is taking place.

If I can think of a good reason for a private conversation, Niv - or Gypsy - believe me I will.

Cesare actually interested her a bit, but the opportunity has just not arisen.

Confused again. Not uncommon. I think what you're saying is to look at the person (or person in your side conversation) with the fewest posts in the period and no one (no one in your side conversation) should have more than two plus whatever that number is.

And if anyone says they're going to be offline, we don't count them, right?

Yep, that's about the sum of it!

And I am fairly lenient, I don't take issue with an odd post here and there.

Oh and if you only post twice in any 24 hour period - you are fine anyway!

Ok. Then Art (and you and Raven ) can't post again until either (a) Nicki posts or (b) time rolls over at 14:49 EST. Niv and Zeim may have another post, but Pam and I are both out of compliance.

"oh, it fits the convo right now" or "just one more won't hurt"

That's when it doesn't allow people to add in their ideas.

At least that's my two cents.

I'm probably not going to bring it up again unless someone else starts the discuss as was done this time - I've talked enough about it here, in the shoutbox and in pm; however, if I start feeling overposted and stepped on, I'll take the steps I deem necessary to not
1) restrict others from playing how they want to
2)feel like a hinderance
3) be put in stressful situations when it's a game and supposed to be fun

As for the PM's, I think if they are presumed to always be in the past, ex. a random time after dinner and before bed the night before the current action, and it's all discussion, then it won't really matter or affect the game.

Yah, I think what we're trying to do here is create... hmmm... an environment in which conversations happen in an unnatural way. And as long as my brain KNOWS that's what we're doing, I will do my best to fit into that mold.

Of course, there's this whole cognitive dissonance thing going on where on one hand we have polite, round-robin conversations, and on the other hand people are trying to kill us. Still working on reconciling those little issues. I'm considering therapy.

Just a note to everyone. Please don't ever wait on me to post. If you determine that I should post next or some such thing, please skip me. I'm around enough that if I didn't post it's because I didn't have anything to add or I figured that adding something might just restart a discussion when we were about to make a decision. Groups of this size can easily come to a halt with overly expressed opinions so I'm happy to keep Bekkah's opinion to herself.

The Reds stick together, and Geek Red could probably her hands on a Tel'tak to get us out of there, and a backup Al-Kesh to get rid of the evil town of Cragside. We could be in Talesan's Village in less than a quarter candlemark.

just a note ... if we get some actions either tonight or tomorrow ... those investigating things may be able to get back in order to report what they find for a late Saturday or sSunday longer-action post

we are coming up on the end of the week ... i would recommend reconvening as soon as possible and then post what you are going to do for the evening' entertainment by late night Friday, so I have real actions to respond to come the weekend.

Ours is pretty easy to finidh quickly and move on.
