The Final Round ACRO 4/24-11/24 <Lights come on revealing an empty set the sound of a broom is heard swishing across a floor> <Voices are heard in the background> "That is the last time I place a wolf in charge of cleaning. Grab the dustpan." "I warned you. But you said have faith in him. Anyway who thought confetti would go everywhere? The camera pans out revealing Selaim and Jimmy as they dump an overflowing dustpan of red, white, and blue confetti. "You know this wouldn't have been the case if they'd just let us use fireworks for the Fireworks Round. Lots of sparks and less cleanup." Jimmy grumbles as he fills up the dustpan again Selaim rolls her eyes at him. "You know what Gypsy said. That whole thing about fire codes. Miales couldn't get it past her or the T.U.S.K. Anyway its not like you have anything better going on. I mean your game was cancelled afterall. Right now I'm supposed to be in... well nevermind... That should be it. They aren't going to see this area anyway. But we have a guest this time. TennesseeMaiden is running the Round." "Oh I'm sure it'll be fine." he counters as he sweeps the rest of the pile under a rug. "Anyway. It is just going to be the two of us this time. No Phelan or Pavel or anyone else. Subdued. Relaxed. Ummm why are you smirking?" "Have you asked the boss? Did he say that? You know he's not locked away this year. Don't you?" "Umm... oh... At that moment the lights dim then change colors and start flashing. Then music blasts across the set. shoot..." And a snickering laugh is heard reverbating throughout the set

He checks his watch. "Where is she? It isn't like she has to actually get ready or anything." he grumbles as he finally notices that the camera is on. A disembodied voice is heard in the background. "She's going to be a little delayed. She's dealing with a figurative 'Timmy is down a well" moment. Actual well but no Timmy just goblins. She'll be here though." Jimmy looks around. Then looks at the camera as if he is seeing something for the first time. "Oh. Its you. Care to explain how we are doing this? Like last time? " "Nah more subdued. Been a long season. A little tired." A figure walks in front of the camera adjusting it so that you can only see Jimmy and the empty seat next to him. "Well its the final round. We were supposed to do a big even like last season. Announcing the contestants. Interviews. That sort of thing. We are doing that right?" "Its Maiden's show this time around. I am just producing it. Heck I won't even know the contestants just the entries. So pretty hard to announce the contestants if I don't know who they are. Am I wrong? Now..." There is a long pause. Jimmy looking to his right since the man is evidently sitting on the couch now. "What we can do is talk about the season. And maybe some plans for the future." Jimmy gulps, "Future. Plans." Yeah. But that can come later... Let them fret a little while on that." Jimmy's eyes widen. "Ohhhh kay." "Let's bring up that first chart." An image appears on the screen "So this is where we are sitting going into the final round. Jimmy blinks. "Ummm... boss..." "As you can see Maiden has a huge lead going in." "Boss" "She's been leading almost the entire season." "BOSS!!!" Jimmy is looking frantic now. Then picks up his glass of water and tosses it at the couch. "Veritable Jug... What!!!" "Wrong graphic. That was from like three games ago." A pause "The last time I hire Aqua's minions to run the booth. Put up the right graphic. an exasperated Miales is heard saying." A new graphic appears "Now as I was saying. Maiden has been nearly unstoppable this season. She comes into this round with an 18 point lead. Hell she even won the Fireworks round. Which was no small feat." "So you are saying this is pretty much a coronation." Jimmy says lifting an eyebrow. "Not in the least. I mean 18 points is huge but a Def gaining that much support is possible. Aqua has scored 20 before. So have I. So it is possible." "But difficult. So who are the contenders this time around?" He leans in enthralled. "Well as you can see We've had 11 contestants this season." A hand is seen with a remote. First of all there's Mouse Everybody's favorite Teddy Bear Protector Real Life took him most of the season But he's back with the power of Ted behind him Then we have Tusk I mean what more can we say about The T. U. S. K. Real life has been getting the best of him too That and long ACRO's Next there is Dugan Rock steady. Biting humor Canadian Thinks outside the box And man does he come up with some fun Defs. At 105 points for the season You can tell he comes up with good ones The next contender... Well she was sort of forced into this. She came in to help make sure we had 8 contestants. But I hear she does enjoy it. None other than PlayfulFox with 106 points Next on the list is Gypsy What can I say about her than won't get me banned? Her 109 points doesn't reflect her talent I think she'd been distracted by vacations this season Or maybe the upkeep on the T.U.S.K. system Mina's had a busy season evidently She comes into the final round with 115 points She's got the talent to win this round Not to mention... She has the power of Dash with her Now TennesseeBaron He still shows promise. Heck he was as high as 2nd place for some of the season He took a few breaks and dropped to fifth overall with 145 points Behind his apparent hero Aqua. "We never can get those .gifs right can we?" Jimmy grumbles "No worries. Anyway we are now up to the top four players for this game. Normally any one of them would have a chance of taking the title. But not this season." At fourth we have Aqua Sitting at 160 points One of two players ever to score 20 points in a round King of the Minions himself And a Four time Former Champion Recently retired from Scoremomma duties In her first season following Cruising into the final round with 175 points A FIVE Time Champion!!! Weez. Then we come to me Your current Scoredaddy The one with the best chance of overtaking the Maiden Sitting at 180 points and 18 points behind the lead "That brings us to this week's Dealer. " "Bad luck that. Means she has to deal the next round too if you don't score 18 points. "Why yes. Yes it does." Your reigning Champion Winner of the Fireworks round The Sparky Sparky Boom Boom Queen On average scoring nearly 10 points a game Sitting at 198 overall points TennesseeMaiden "Wow 198 points. She did deal a few round right?" "That she did. To include this round. Right now she is collecting the entries and will post when she has them. As a reminder... Remember Vote for your Favorites... The camera pans over where Jimmy is seen laying down on the couch tossing a ball in the air. Selaim is with him in a chair flipping a long hunting knife. "Well she's been busy. She does have a real life you know." Selaim's voice. "Bah wires just got crossed and I wasn't able to merge the threads. It happens. Also didn't help that I voted so soon after she posted. All good.The main thing is people voted. And enough have voted for what comes next." He waves his hand and a graphic appears "According to voting none of the entries will come close to giving anyone enough points to beat Maiden. If this were an election the AP would say there is no path to victory and they'd call the race. That means we can...." Announce the WINNER!!!!! Let me introduce The Sparky Sparky Boom Boom Queen After amassing 198 overall points And Scoring an average of 9.9 points a game I Bring you the NOW Two Time ACRO Champion TennesseeMaiden!!!! Selaim jumps up and Yells "YAY!!! Maiden." As confetti rains down. As she celebrates Jimmy is seen squinting through the sparkling pieces. "Um boss... You aren't supposed to press the... BIG RED BUTTON!!! The set explodes in a kaleidoscope of sparks and smoke... And through it all a voice is heard... "Stay tuned... A New season is coming soon... Very soon..."

A couch engulfed in flame is centered on the camera> "ANd this is why Gypsy said no fireworks!!" Jimmy yells as he sprays the couch with a fire extinguisher. "Be nice. The boss was just letting off some steam." Selaims is heard saying off camera. "Its not like he meant to catch the set on fire. I was sorely tempted to press that button too." Jimmy stops and seems to be talking to himself . His hand to his ear. "What? Maiden wants us to announce what? Oh this weeks winner. Give me a moment." He spray the couch again as the fire goes out leaving behind a charred husk of a couch. He straightens his suit then faces the camera. "Well with that done. Who actually won the final round?" Selaim steps forward with a fan blowing more smoke off the set. Well according to this... Aqua is the big winner... followed closely by Gryphon!!!" She clicks a remote and the scoreboard for the last game appears. "Wow he got a lot of votes for his Raccoon Landlord entry." Jimmy says... 14 points." Selaim whispers to herself but the microphones catch part of what she says. "Help from Claude." "Selaim!!! Take that back. We don't have proof. And anyway.did you..." At that moment a large wolfkin comes charging onto the stage yelling. "You be Nice!!!. Aqua would never use an AI for a post.!!!" then he takes a swipe at Selaim with his massive paw. She nimbly dodges it... then runs leaving Jimmy all alone. "Wow. Just wow Well here is the final scoreboard." Jimmy walks across the stage and points out the final leaderboard for this season of ACRO. "As expected Tennesseemaiden wins as the Associate Press claimed earlier. And the rest of the order largely remains the same. The biggest mover in the final week was PlayfulFox who climbed two spots. But see for yourself." "Look we have a lot to clean up after Miales went crazy celebrating on the set. Congrats to the winners. It is always a relief to see the season come to an end. Just means that we are 25 weeks until another ACRO champion emerges." "Thank you everyone... and good night."
