Meh... it was a good week. Everyone got votes. Some more than others. And the nicest bit... No real runaways this week. Loved that. Of course it will be a nightmare posting on the final results page since we had THREE Real winners this week... Wow talk about a lack of consensus in definitions. But lets mull over the definitions... get some true honest thoughts from the dealer of this round. 1 Employing Waist Binder (Must zip pants!): TennesseeMaiden Ah yes everybody's favorite. The truth and facts of life. Especially when you enjoy bacon so much. That Ever-expanding Waist/Belly. The reason so many wear pants with an Elastic Waist Band. But I digress. I liked this one... I really did... it hit close to home.... too close Just wishing they made a similar thing for shirts Sadly this def did not draw in the win only gathering 7 points... 2 Ever Wonder 'Bout (The birds, the bees, the flowers, and the trees): Playful Fox So we come up to our 1st Real Winner with 8 points A catchy little tune to start the day... So catchy I started having Alexa play it to wake the kids 3 Enjoying Weekend Breakfast (Nice to not have to eat and run.): Weez We have come to our 2nd Real Winner that also scored 8 points... A subject we all know and love... Breakfast... Ahhh... breakfast... what is not to like... Eggs With Bacon... yummy... Especially Cheesy eggs with that nice well cooked just crispy bacon that melts in your mouth... Maybe some hashbrowns to go with it... ummm... be back in a bit... hungry now... Where's my Waist Binder? 4 Embracing Warm Bears (Do try this at home. DON'T try this on your next camping trip.): Aqua The Def that needed a disclaimer...And a PSA... you know a Public Service Announcement... Whether it is a Grizzly in the garden or a Polar on the porch... It is always safer to just hug the Teddy in the Beddy...Well unless it is Ted Ted... then Mackey my try to wack you for stealing his buddy. A few people embraced or braved the bear hugs this week to the tune of 6 points... 5 Enemies Withhold Bacon (food fight a coming!): Dugan Everybody loves bacon... The withholding of bacon... well that is an act of WAR. I have on good authority that that whole fracas between England and the USA in 1812 could have been avoided. But the Americans were withholding bacon from Canada. So you see what happened... War raged for two years... all because of one thing... and one thing only... Bacon... greasy... salty bacon. American Bacon that is. Not that thinly sliced ham junk they have in Canada... and you know why they only have that type of bacon? Because the US won that war!!! To the victor goes the BACON!!! And the majority of you agree with Dugan... Here it is... The Third and FINAL Real Winner with 8 Points 6 Ewoks Win Battle (Endor is once again safe!): Mina You are darn straight they win battles... Nobody can withstand the Ewoks... Their coolness... their fuzziness... their overwhelming cuteness... Small wonder that the Empire Was Beaten by a horde of mini Teddy Bears wielding spears and slingshots. Unfortunately their cuteness wasn't enough and only netted 5 points 7 Every Witch's baggage (broom, black cat, eye of newt etv.): Gypsy How appropriate for this time of year. To think somebody actually did a Halloween themed ACRO. Heaven forbid. I swear!!! For shame! For Shame! this did not get the votes it deserved... There is not a single one of you who will get anything from the Great Pumpkin this year!!! Yeah... He is real! And he's not coming for any of you!!! DISCLAIMER: Except for maybe TennesseeBaron and Gryphon who voted for Halloween... 8 Enchanting White Bunnies (so soft and fluffy!): TennesseeBaron Well we've had 3 Real Winners but who gets the mantel? People there is only one def left... BUNNIES wins again... Hippity Hoppity BUNNIES... Everybody loves BUNNIES... From Bugs to Babs... From Dash to Dash... what is there not to love about those long eared terrors of the garden... Carrot munchers one and all... B... U... N... N... I... E... S... BUNNIES!!! Congrats Baron...
