As a memory exercise I recently made a list of all the RPGs I've played, one way or another. I soon realised it wasn't an impossible task and that because I often play in long campaigns or play the same game more than once (D&D obviously), the list was more modest than might be expected for someone who's been playing for 37 years.

13th Age
AD&D 2nd Edition
Advanced HeroQuest
Adventure! by White Wolf
Alien RPG by Free League
Ars Magica 5th Edition
Blades in the Dark
Call of Cthulhu
Castle Falkenstein
CJ Carella's WitchCraft
Cortex Plus
Cyberpunk 2020
D&D 3rd Edition
D&D 5th Edition
D&D BECMI/Mentzer
Deadlands
Delta Green
Dread
Dungeon World
End of the World by FFG
Exalted
Fate Accelerated
Feng Shui
GUMSHOE
GURPS Lite
Heroes Unlimited
Hogwarts: A RPG by David Brunell-Brutman
Hollow Earth Expedition
Houses of the Blooded
In Nomine
Ironsworn
Lady Blackbird
Lasers & Feelings
Mage: The Ascension 20th Anniversary Edition
Magical Kitties Save the Day
Marvel Super Heroes by TSR
Monster of the Week
Ninjas & Superspies
Paranoia
Powergame by Mikko Kauppinen
RIFTS
Risus
Robin D. Law's Hillfolk
Savage Worlds
Shadow of the Demon Lord
Sins of the Father
Slayers by Gila RPG
Spirit of the Century
Star Wars Roleplaying Game by WotC
Star Wars Roleplaying Game by FFG
Symbaroum
The Great Game by Aetheric Dreams
TMNT & Other Strangeness
Tri-Stat DX
Trophy Dark
Unknown Armies 1st Edition
Vampire: The Masquerade Revised Edition
Weird Wars

Only 58 games, huh. huh

I've probably forgotten some but why don't you have a go at your own list. I'll add any more to mine that I think of.

Try this method, as it worked quite well for me.

  1. Cast your mind back, from your most recent game backwards.
  2. Once you exhaust that, go back to the beginning, what was your first game, your second, and so on.
  3. Still trying to fill in the blanks? Start thinking of what characters you've played, their voices, their adventures.

True, Gypsy! grin luv Which version of the Star Trek game did you play? I've never played an official one, though I ran that Star Trek campaign using Lady Blackbird.

I always thought Primetime Adventures would be the best system to run a legit Star Trek game. I had a look at Modiphius's Star Trek Adventures but it uses their 2d20 system and I do not like that system. It's hard enough to keep control of one d20 rolling across the table!! lol

Yeah, the different versions of D&D are quite distinct but Savage Worlds' different editions are very similar, some even using the same interior artwork. Tricky to remember which one is which.

That's a great list and reminds me I have played Feng Shui too! Yet haven't played any Cypher games!!

Star Trek games not using any 'official' system. We had our own rules for a multiship universe game on CompuServe - some fond memories there smile - and am currently playing one here which is Miales Homebrew system. smile

STS, good reminder Gypsy!

Yes, I skipped homebrewed games. That would lengthen my list a bit. grin
