As the skeletons fell and the space expanded a bit, Catalena drew her cold iron nodachi. The oversized blade flashed in the sunlight.
"You see, Aendell, I've found a new dance partner," she quipped. Then she used the extended reach to thrust into the open space to drive the approaching skeletons more directly into Aendell's strikes.
Catalena Fighting, as Support action to assist Aendell's Fighting Vryx rolled d8,d6 and got 1, 5 Pande had said a -1 and if that is for a Support in addition to trying to hit herself... Fighting: 4 (success on a Support) +1 to Aendell's next Fighting roll
((ooc Selaim is next, with a +1 Support to her first Fighting roll))

It is really small space for all the foes and trying to avoid hitting each other as best you can, makes things a bit more challenging.

Selaim Vigor Roll (ace) Miales rolled d4-1 and got 0 Note if she failed the vigor roll to recover from Shaken will be using a Benny to do so
Selaim shakes herself off after the onslaught and pounding the Skeletons took on her after she landed. Zak's timely heal helping invigorate her.
"That definitely did not go as planned," she thinks (OOC: I know shocking isn't it... the thought of Selaim thinking) as she glances behind her to see the aftermath of Aendell's strikes. "I was hoping to land in front of Coral... not in the middle of these things."
But those thoughts were quickly cast aside as the skeletons struck again. Luckily this time only brushing her. Resolved and knowing help was soon at hand she strikes out at the Skeleton in front of her.

There are currently 4 skeletons in the mix, so say two PCs each attack one of them, that pair each get a +1 to their attacks to hit.

So that or better to shake and then wound as per normal. These guys take two wounds to utterly destroy.

She decided to stick with Aendell to protect his flank and cast a bolt of fire at the nearest creature.
Coral fire-bolt on the nearest skel Angrboða rolled d10,d6 and got 3, 4
so a 4 (only just works?)
Coral fire-bolt damage on the nearest skel (+1) Angrboða rolled d6,d6 and got 6, 2
Coral fire-bolt damage on the nearest skel (ace) Angrboða rolled d6 and got 4 so 6+2+1+4 = 13 damage | | | | Joined: May 2009 Posts: 15,093 Likes: 10 Chaotic Obfuscator Moderator | OP Chaotic Obfuscator Moderator Joined: May 2009 Posts: 15,093 Likes: 10 | [OOC We will assume that the intention is to destroy the foes rather than offer them a respite. What I mean by that is if Coral attacks the one that is Shaken, she destroys it. If she attacks a new one, then it shakes and receives one less wound, which in most cases, is a consideration.
Yes, a 4 does hit for a range attack at the moment. Note she has at least a +1 to hit for attacking in concert with her comrades. The Gang up bonus only works for Fighting, not range attacks. Oops.
I just wanted to mention the tactics above. If she attacks a new skeleton, it would be Shaken, and receive 1 wound. They know from their current interactions that 1 wound won't completely destroy the foe.]
Assuming Coral's bolt of fire reaches out and touches the skeleton that is currently brow beaten by an earlier attack, the flames lick over the bones, and its animating magics disappate, with it collapsing completely.
Another bites the dust!
OOC: By my count, that leaves 3 Skeletons standing and active. None are Shaken.

Father Z, again bolster's Aendell since it is working so well (+1 die size for damage on his next set of attacks).
Sheriff Belor admires their skill and says nothing.
The skeletons try to claw the paladin, and another tries to hurt Seliam. None fine purchase, and are rather ineffectual.

SHe strikes out again with both her weapons. But even the openings made by the fallen skeletons doesn't give her what she needs to be able to hit with both. Her first strike a success while she misses with the second strike.

Seliam kinda shot herself out in the middle of the enemy, so not really close enough given the tight quarters. Go ahead and note what effects Zak sets up.
