Achtung Cthulhu Teaser 1:

Darkness enveloped the small town of Saint Sulac, France. Its oppression was only complicated by the steady rain that pattered on the cobblestone streets, forming small rivers that gushed into the sewers. A fierce cold wind howled through the narrow alleys, stirring up leaves and debris. Shadows danced ominously in the faint light that leaked from the shuttered windows.

An air of unease hung over the silent town. Doors and shutters were locked up tight against the storm. Occasional flashes of lightning illuminated the gothic architecture of the old buildings, casting them in a ghostly light. Somewhere, a loose sign creaked eerily in the wind.

The church bell tolled midnight, the ominous sound echoing through the empty streets. A stray cat yowled and disappeared into the darkness. The night seemed alive with foreboding energy as if anything could emerge from the shadows at any moment.
Overall, an unsettling scene full of imagery evoking mystery, gloom, and a subtle sense of lurking danger on this dark rainy night in the small French town.

The night was interrupted by the staccato of engines getting louder as a German assault force rolled into the small town. One Kübelwagen at the front of the column of vehicles pulled to a stop, and out stepped a pale man with a drastic visage. He stepped quickly to a door that opened before him. Inside, another German commander reacted with surprise.

“Master Stöller, the man exclaimed!” It looked as if he might ask why the man had appeared in the middle of the night in this small village so far from the front lines.

Stöller stepped inside, and the door closed.

Teaser 2

Crouched in the bushes outside town, Aramis watched the scene unfold through his binoculars. The relentless rain had soaked through his coat, but he dared not move. Regular German forces departed Saint Sulac, replaced by elite soldiers bearing the dreaded Black Sun insignia.

Aramis shuddered. The Black Sun troops were notorious, more beasts than men. Their arrival did not bode well for the townspeople.

From his hiding place on the hill, Aramis could see the Germans taking positions on the church tower. The church bell rang out nine times, signaling the changing of the guard. Thunder rumbled ominously overhead.

Something evil was coming to Saint Sulac tonight. Aramis had to warn the Resistance cell in town before it was too late. He glanced up at the roiling black clouds. This storm was the perfect cover for him to sneak back undetected. With a last look at the Germans, Aramis melted into the shadows. He moved swiftly through the darkness, the wind and rain masking his footsteps. The night had turned against Saint Sulac, but he would do whatever it took to save it and its humble people.

Achtung Cthulhu Teaser 3

The night was inky black, the moon and stars obscured by thick storm clouds overhead. Cold rain fell in sheets, drumming steadily on the wooden roof of the old farmhouse outside the sleepy village of Saint Sulac. Inside, Aramis peered out the fogged window into the darkness, straining his eyes for any sign of movement. His band of resistance fighters waited silently, weapons gripped tightly as the tension mounted.

Somewhere out there in the shadows, the Black Sun commandos were closing in. These elite soldiers worked for Hitler in the madman’s quest for occult power. Ruthless and efficient, they had tracked the resistance cell to this remote location to finally snuff them out.

The French resistance’s actions to try and drive The Black Sun from their village hadn’t been successful. In fact, it had been downright disastrous. He hoped that his message had been received and relayed to the HQ of Section M. They were the village’s only hope to stop whatever nefarious plot was being orchestrated here.

Aramis squinted into the rain-lashed night, watching for the telltale flashes of gunfire that would signal the start of the fight. His heart pounded with anticipation. Beside him, his fellow freedom fighters steeled themselves, prepared to engage the enemy in a desperate last stand.

Suddenly, light flashes split the darkness as the commandos opened fire on the farmhouse. The resistance members burst into action, unleashing a hail of return fire through the shattered windows. The commandos swiftly moved to surround the building, their machine guns spouting tracer rounds, punctuating the silent death through the night.

Aramis darted from window to window, firing controlled shots into the gloom. The commandos were nearly invisible, only giving away their positions when their gun muzzles flared. The firefight was chaotic, lanes of fire crisscrossing through the sheeting rain.

For a few frantic minutes, the outcome hung in the balance. But the commandos had them outgunned and surrounded. One by one, Aramis' fellow fighters fell until only he remained, making his last stand. But it was not to be - a well-aimed shot from the darkness sent him sprawling.

As Aramis lay bleeding out on the floor, the commandos breached the farmhouse, their sinister figures silhouetted by flashes of lightning. The resistance cell was no more. But Aramis took comfort in knowing his death would inspire others to keep fighting. The darkness and storm claimed the night, but hope still remained.
