LOL. Ok... I admit my consumption of wine and/or bourbon may have limited my ability to comprehend that joke at the time, but I get it now grin

So a question about the D&D Beyond PC Creation thingie. I use Roll20 as the repository for the most up to date version of my pc as well as doing all of my spell casting, distance and AOE measurements, attack and initiative rolls, and getting a tactical map view. Are we saying that once we put our pcs into D&D Beyond I will need to maintain it in both Roll20 and D&D Beyond as I won't have any map or measurements in Beyond so will still need to continue to use Roll20 I believe?

Zeim, The import is from DnDBeyond into Roll20 or Forge-VTT. So start using DnDBeyond as the repository you work from. You can roll from DnDBeyond into Roll20 too. Once you create your PC in DnDBeyond I'll get together with you to show you how it works. It's a cool tool.

I hate Roll20 (as I still haven't figured out darkness) and want to try other battle map tools. I've read great things about ForgeVTT.

For now, though, I really just want one place to go to see everyone's character sheets. I'm OK if there's an auto-updated Roll20 pdf link that can get generated... is there?

And I'll repeat, there's no rush on this. This is just an old fart trying to learn as he goes and asking for some help making it easier to find info.

We do use ForgeVTT in our long time "FTF" game. It is nice and since it links to D&D Beyond it would resolve the issue of using multiple tools to see a map, see a pc sheet, roll spells and attacks, and measure distance. Of course we use ForgeVTT together as a real time virtual game so I am not certain whether players have access to the maps and can take actions asynchronously without the DM present.

You can see Zhu's updated sheet on Roll20. As DM you should have access to all the pcs there. I do not know if a download to pdf is possible. Nep?

Huh, looks like there's a Chrome Extension to export to PDF. Just need to get that current export uploaded to here and I'd be happy.

Zeim, the same hooks used by Forge are used in Roll20 and Forge locks the map when the DM is gone, as you say.

Roll20 seems to have erased both her HPs and AC in its last upgrade. Odd. Anyway, I fixed it and reupdated. Let me know if its better.

Yeah, having the map locked is a problem. We play asynchronously here and I (as a player) would need access to the map to do measurements, move my pc, cast spells and do other things without the DM present.

Looks like there are add-ons that allow un-pausing on various triggers that might fit the bill?

I maintain an AWS server for fun and could easily self-host something on there.

For the sake of completeness, Expeditious Retreat is also a concentration spell.

The DICE GODS are kind!

Thank you for the option.

Sindar has 45 HP according to his sheet. Double check things, I believe that is at 6th level. Not sure I made him 7th yet.

Same with Kriv. I found that toggling the armor off and on fixed it, but I had to input hitpoints manually. (49/49)

As an aside, I've tried building Kriv on D&DBeyond, but it seems Eldritch Knight and Great Weapon Mastery are paywalled.

I might be able to set him up on there. Do have access to both.

Have you paid Hasbro for the optional added book materials?

Cool. I haven't looked yet but I may need some of that to create an Eladrin Elf.
