Kriv looked to finish off the monitor and redirect his full efforts against their main foe. He struck with immense force and speed at them both, with great disdain for their aquatic foe and its attempted mental manipulations.

Kriv attacks the large kuo-tao monitor with his maul and kills it. Then turning his attention to Oosith, the dragonborn hit it with decisive blows. The angry aboleth turns his attention to the new assailant and tries to thump him with his tail ooc: His final legendary action for the round but it missed him. Oosith the aboleth Attacks Kriv with tail (legendary action) Neptune rolled 1d20+9,3d6+5 and got 14, 12
The Crabs go and will be followed shortly thereafter by the remaining kuo-tao.
DM The crabs, now on their last legs, continue to press the attacks. One kuo-tao whip and one Merrow take damage. The merrow seems to be relieved as he is hit. The two whips also continue their battle. One of them manages to kill a crab but it is still held in the grasp but the other one.
The rest of the kuo-tao continue to battle. Sindar, Davroar and Kriv are all hit by a spear jab. M2 Wisdom save Neptune rolled 1d20 and got 20

Taking a small step up to gain a better line for her upcoming spell she calls out, "Bern, snap out of it!" She is tired of Bern attacking her and others in the party. Pointing her finger 3 small darts of energy fly out, one striking Bern and two striking Oosith. She uses her Metamagic powers to speed up the casting of the Magic Missile and then casts a Bolt of Lightning (targeting KT5 and Oosith. As I read the map, from her new position, she should be able to draw a straight line for the LB in-between Bern and Sindar without hitting them. If you disagree let me know and I'll move her elsewhere and just attack Oosith with the LB).
(Note, Roll 20 only rolled 1d4+1 when I cast this so I rolled the other two d4+2 manually there) Magic Missile 1st-level evocation (as a Bonus Action) Zhuirentel Elendaril You create three glowing darts of magical force. Each dart hits a creature of your choice that you can see within range. A dart deals 1d4 + 1 force damage to its target. The darts all strike simultaneously, and you can direct them to hit one creature or several. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 2nd level or higher, the spell creates one more dart for each slot level above 1st. 2 force damage to Bern (should allow Bern a new Save versus Domination) 7 force damage to Oosith
Lightning Bolt 3rd-level evocation Zhuirentel Elendaril Casting Time: 1 action Range: Self (100-foot line) A stroke of lightning forming a line 100 feet long blasts out from you in a direction you choose. Each creature in the line must make a Dexterity saving throw. A creature takes 8d6 lightning damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one. The lightning ignites flammable objects in the area that aren’t being worn or carried. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 4th level or higher, the damage increases by 1d6 for each slot level above 3rd. vsOosith and KT5 DC 15 Dexterity saving throw Saving throw success: half damage Saving throw failure: 23 lightning damage (Specific Dice Rolls are: 5, 1, 5, 1, 5, 3, 1, 2 = 23)
Using Metamagic to reroll the 4 lowest dice 1, 1, 1, 2. New roll = 2, 4, 3, 5 New Damage total = 5, 2, 5, 4, 5, 3, 3, 5 = 32
DM The aboleth is struck by the lightning bolt and reels from the attack. Clinging to life, it needs to restore it's life force. Bern, under control of the aboleth for the entire encounter is assaulted with a psychic attack that drains him of some of his life force. The aboleth absorbs that life energy and heals itself.
OOC: You needed 14 But don't worry, you get another save!
Oosith Dex save vs lightning bolt Neptune rolled 1d20-1 and got 1
I'll make the assumption that Zhu will not try and harm Sindar and Bern more and will solo target the aboleth. Oosith takes 37 points of damage.
Oosith psychic drain on Bern Neptune rolled 3d6 and got 12
Bern took more damage. He gets another wisdom save.
[[ For the second roll, Bern Wis save MikeD rolled d20+2 and got 5 ... so clearly the 'second roll was a waste <weg> Now do I need to roll another save?? ]]
The half elf was sorely wounded leaving him few options. Completely annoyed at the creature that keeps stabbing him with the business end of a spear he summons magic and calls a phrase at the thing. It is almost complete jibberish but one might hear an Elven curse mixed in.
He releases his spell at his foe hoping to return his pain tit for tat.
Cast Dissonant Whispers. Wisdom save (can't remember how to figure his DC) or take 10 damage. Sindar DW Damage Pandemonium rolled 3d6 and got 10

Sindar babbles some audible giberish into the water and these whispers traumatize the kuo-tao that has been busily poking him with his spear. These incomprehensible mutterings cause it severe pain.
Oosith, still reeling from the massive attack by the dragonborn, swings it's tail at Kriv in a desperate attempt to remove him from the battle. What might've been a fatal swat just misses hitting the eldritch knight.
OOC: Best place to find it is in Roll20 on your sheet...
KT5 Wisdom save Neptune rolled 1d20 and got 12
Oosith the aboleth Tail swipe legendary action w/advantage vs Kriv Neptune rolled 1d20+9,1d20+9,3d6+5 and got 16, 16, 14 - MISSES!
Bern goes Then it's time for a "lair" action from Oosith.
OOC: Since Bern is technically an opponent right now, I will give Sindar an opportunity attack on Bern, if he so chooses. It needs to be a base melee attack. If the attack causes damage, Bern can snap out and the attack does not happen.
DM Sindar tries to slap Bern out of his mental enslavement but Bern is too fast for him as he swims towards Zhu and stabs her multiple times. Blood surrounds the eladrin now as she nears demise.
Just then the aboleth summons a new ally. A large snake-like creature appears in the water nearby as soon as it appears, it glows with a jolt of electricity that affects anyone within 15 feet of it. Electric eel lightning damage Neptune rolled 1d6 and got 2
I need everyone in the party to make a DC 14 Intelligence save or take 2 points lightning damage
