She takes a moment to reorient herself (spends 1/2 movement to recover from Prone). Then, pointing a finger and speaking a phrase a Bolt of Lightning shoots from her fingertip striking Oosith and continuing on across the room also striking M1.
Lightning Bolt 3rd-level (as 3) evocation Zhuirentel Elendaril Casting Time: 1 action Range: Self (100-foot line) A stroke of lightning forming a line 100 feet long and 5 feet wide blasts out from you in a direction you choose. Each creature in the line must make a Dexterity saving throw. A creature takes 8d6 lightning damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one. The lightning ignites flammable objects in the area that aren’t being worn or carried. vsOosith DC 15 Dexterity saving throw Saving throw success: half damage Saving throw failure: 31 lightning damage
As soon as the Bolt has fired, she speaks another word and vanishes from her current location to reappear across the room (Fey Step).

DM Zhu aims her bolt of lightning up, to avoid hitting Davroar. The bolt streaks through the water and strikes both the aboleth and the kuo-tao monitor that is facing off against the two crabs. Neither is able to avoid the full force of the spell's damage.
M1 Dex save vs lightning bolt Neptune rolled 1d20 and got 12 Oosith the aboleth Dex save vs lightning bolt Neptune rolled 1d20-1 and got 4
Sindar is up. I going to ping Pande and see if he's around and about again...
Having managed to keep his footing through the rolling waves, the Bard chooses to remain where he is, trying to watch the battle around him and see who to attack next. The decision is made instantly when one of the Kuo-Toa stabs him in the groin. You don't stab someone in the groin and live very long after. He utters a few words, not all of which are appropriate in polite company, and lifts his hand to gesture in the direction of KT1, releasing a crackling beam of energy that may have gone further but is rather effective at the close range of his assailant.
As the groin-stabber seems to have survived the first blast, a second one heads to the same target, with a satisfied single syllable word uttered after it has done its damage.
Eldritch Blast Cantrip (as 0) evocation Sindar Casting Time: 1 action Range: 120 feet Components: V, S Duration: Instantaneous A beam of crackling energy streaks toward a creature within range. Make a ranged spell attack against the target. On a hit, the target takes 1d10 force damage. The spell creates more than one beam when you reach higher levels: two beams at 5th level, three beams at 11th level, and four beams at 17th level. You can direct the beams at the same target or at different ones. Make a separate attack roll for each beam. Melee Spell Attack: 27 to hit KT1 AC 13, range 120 feet Crit: 10+6 force damage
Melee Spell Attack: 21 to hit KT1 AC 13, range 120 feet Hit: 8 force damage
OOC: Sorry. Hate to burst that bubble, but you need to roll to hit twice more. The first d20 will be for that crit. The second for that second hit. You see, you have disadvantage for using a range magic spell against an adjacent target.
Sindar 2nd roll at disadvantage for KT1 attacks AquaDyne rolled 1d20,1d20 and got 19, 14 (both need to add +7 modifiers ... looks like same result but minus the crit )
Note that Sindar, Kriv and Zhu have drank their potions. Arus doesn't need to. Bern and Davroar need to. Yeah, Giant constrictor snakes can swim but they cannot breath under water. Davroar's gonna find it tough to dring that potion in that form.
He gets up carefully since he can't see his footing through the rising water. Once up, he decides it is a good time to drink the water breathing potion since it looks like the room is filling fast.
That taken care of he moves towards the walkway and Sindar.
After Zhu blasts the aboleth and Sindar kills one of the kuo-tao, Bern drinks his potion and moves towards Sindar.
Everyone is now under water, in the aboleth's lair and they are about to feel it's rage. The water acts as a conduit for that rage as the monster summons it's ire in the form of a psychic blast.
OOC: I need Arus, Sindar, Kriv, Zhu and Davroar to make wisdom saves (DC 14). If you fail, you take 9 points of psychic damage.
Oh, and all those crabs need to make that save too.
Oosith Lair action: psychic blast Neptune rolled 2d6 and got 9
The head of one of the crabs (Crab 4) shatters and it floats away dead. The other crabs survive but are all severely harmed. As for the heroes, Sindar and Kriv both wince as they are unable to ward off the psionic attack.
OOC: The crab that died was NOT the one that had grappled anyone so all the CRAB grAPPLEs still hold. it's now Davroar, the snake's turn. Note that the constrictor snake starts with 5 breath points. It loses 1 breath point at the start of it's turn. The drowning rules (from the module) that we are working with are an attachment here. Please pay careful attention. The constrictor snake has a +1 constitution bonus, which is why the snake starts with 5.
Concerned on how many attacks Oosith can unleash, he will re-orientate himself in the water and quickly wraps up Oosith and squeezing as hard as he can.
Ooc: Neptune I removed the prone status and moved Davroar over Oosith to do the constriction attack.
Davroar (Snake form) Constrict on Oosith Dugan rolled 1d20+6 and got 26
Davroar (Snake form) Constrict critical damage on Oosith Dugan rolled 2d8+4,2d8 and got 19, 10 (total 29 damage)
The giant constrictor snake wraps itself around the aboleth and squeezes tight. It feels the pain and reacts with it's tail, attacking Davroar. Although it is constrained, the massive tail hits.
Oosith the aboleth Tail swipe legendary action - disadvantage Neptune rolled 1d20+9,1d20+9,3d6+5 and got 19, 23, 14
Also, Davroar needs to make a DC 14 constitution save.
"Power this spear, Persana Guardian of the Deep!" Arus prays, investing magical power into his trident before thrusting it at the fish-face closest him.
[Arus casts Magic Weapon on his trident, then attacks KT3.
One down, lots more to go. Arus's trident skewers the kuo-tao that was right next to him. ooc: Arus has a move action available to him, if you desire to use it. Remember that you he is submerged.
DM After Arus kills the kuo-tao next to him, he swims closer to the others to help them out.
The Merrow, grappled and restrained by the crabs, attack them. One of them is able to kill the crab attacking him. The other had two on him, concentrated his attack on the one that had grappled him, tries to bite it but misses with that attack but kills it with it's claw. It remains terrified of Arus.
Oosith, now furious at the giant constrictor snake, he unleashes all of his fury on the druid, striking him 3 times. Those blows are sufficient to force Davroar to revert back to his normal form.
The Kuo-tao monitor turns his attention to Sindar who is flanked. He bites and claws at the bard, hitting with the two claws.
Oosith, still angry at Davroar, lashes out at the druid with it's tail, bludgeoning him.
M1 Attack crab-3 (disadvantage),Bite, claw) Neptune rolled 1d20+6,1d20+6,1d8+4,1d20+6,1d20+6,2d4+4 and got 18, 23, 11, 18, 20, 9 M2 Attack crab-5 (disadvantage),Bite Neptune rolled 1d20+6,1d20+6,1d8+4 and got 11, 18, 5 (He would have gone after crab-6 had he killed crab 5 but the bite missed. (OOC - So, since Davroar reverted to his normal form and he can't occupy the same space as Oosith, where is he actually on the map? It matter for spells and such.)
ooc: Good point. I moved Davroar to a "party advantageous" position in one of the squares the constrictor snake occupied. It gives Kriv and Sindar potential flanking.
