The dragonborn flicked his tongue at the successful dispatch of the bugbear he had knocked down. Deflecting the next creature's blows with his shield, he attacks with Talon. He then tries to knock the bugbear down with his shield, but the bugbear was wise to the repeat of the same tactics.
10 to hit, 7 for shield bash. Ignoring the dmg, since... Luminmorn Attack, dmg, shield bash to knock prone Pandemonium rolled 1d20+7,1d8+4,1d20+3 and got 10, 8, 7
[OOC: Oops... I definitely blew that one. Overlooked Kriv's condition. If I had noticed I would definitely have cast the spell on Kriv instead of Chandan.]
DM Luminmorn, bouyed by the demise of the first bugbear after he bashed him with his shield, tries to use that same tactic on the bugbear that stepped over his dead pal. This time the dragonborn misses with both weapon and shield. Behind him, Davroar attacks a bugbear with his mystical thorn whip which only ruffles the feathers of the target and angers it.
DM Bern fires two arrows at two separate bugbears and the they both hit the mark. One plunges deep into the chest of the bugbear in front, bringing him ever so close to the end. The other arrow lodges itself in the eye socket of the second one and he topples backwards to the ground, dead before his head hits the stone. Status:
Arrows hiss passed his head, thunking into the bugbears. Seeing one gasping, a shaft in its chest, Chandan attempts a palm strike to the end, hammering the nail into the coffin, so to speak.
If that works, a spin will bring him in line for a rear horse kick on a second bugbear.
[Chandan hits BB4 for 5 damage. Chandan critical hits BB3 for 14 damage. (Big kick from Chandan Norris!)]
DM The monk begins his deathly whirling by smacking Bern's arrow right through the bugbear that was teetering. It crumbles to the ground but before it hits, Chandan's heal finds the face of another bugbear. The hairy humanoid looks at the monk with a venomous glare as it swung it's great morningstar at the monk but Chandan sidesteps the blow. The other remaining bugbear tries to kill Luminmorn but he has no success either.
He considered wading forward to stand over the corpse of the vagrant's latest kill, the cramped conditions hampering their ability to use their greater numbers, but opted to lend his arcane powers instead.
Kriv Fire Bolt at Bugbear 3 AJ rolled 1d20+5,1d10 and got 12, 2
DM Lunminmorn smacks one bugbear upside the head. The other dodges Davroar's thornwhip, only to get plunked by Bern's second arrow. There were two after Chandan's critical kick. Status:

DM Chandan kicks in the front teeth of the two remaining bugbears. One of his heels pushed the nose of the bugbear in front of him into it's brain and kills it. The other bugbear is left chewing his own teeth. That bugbear tries to kill Luminmorn with his morningstar, but he misses.
OOC: The last remaining bugbear has 13 hit points left. You know the turn order. Kriv goes and then back to the top. Bugbear-5 Attacks Luminmorn Neptune rolled 1d20+4,1d6+2 and got 12, 8
With just the one Bugbear left, it was at last clear for Kriv to move up and use his maul on it directly.

These bugbears are tenacious but finally there is only one left. She takes careful aim and let's fly. Her arrow flies true and straight, devastating the bugbear with lethal damage. Probably no need to hide now!
DM Jaliera puts an arrow right through the last bugbear's eye, a perfect shot! The arrow goes through it's skull and emerges clean after digging a tunnel through it's brain, which is now leaking out the front and back of it's head as it crashes to the ground. It is suddenly quiet again as the battle has ended. OOC: Nice time for a crit! I would have you roll crit damage, but it's already deader than dead! What are you all doing now?
