Either that was Gundren attacking them, in which case he needed to be subdued and restrained until a suitable explanation could be found, or it wasn't and thus needed to be eliminated lest it impugn the dwarf when at liberty. So, the Dragonborn tried to set aside his concerns and impede the 'Gundren' through force. excessive force if necessary.

Chandan thrusts with his spear, catching the King in the buttock. The effect is merely to spur the bugbear on his way though, and groaning, the old monk finds himself chasing after the villain.
Through the excitement he doesn't feel the pain of his injuries, but his body remonstrates nonetheless. He needs a drink!
With a dry throat, Chandan calls over his shoulder to his companions.

Jaliera misses King Grol as he flees. Kriv chases after 'Gundren', and upon exiting the building he sees him running down the stairs. He is able to close adjacent to him as he finishes his movement.
Neil - If you are going to have Chandan chase after King Grol, I need you to move him.

Each of you can move 6 squares and retain the ability to make an attack or ready an action. Of course you can only attack something you can see and none of you can move 6 squares and have LOS to any of the foes.
Alternatively, you can move 12 squares, but give up the option to ready an attack or attack.
Or, you can stay where you are and talk with the 'Gundren' Luminmorn healed, search, heal, etc. Up to you to decide.

"Dammit", he exclaims as Kriv and Chandon run off in opposite directions. "We need to support both of our foolish friends", he said with a sigh. "Who wants to go north and who wants to go south", he asked.

He silently agrees with Bern as he makes a grimace at seeing their group being split up again. Still, there is no hesitation in his decision to help out badly wounded Chandan, "I'm going north!"
Wounded as he is and possibly going into a another fight he uses his last shape change ability for the day into a dire wolf for the speed to catch up.

Having healed the dwarf some, the large dragonborn stands guard. In doing so, he asks "how are you? Can you travel?" He intends to determine if more healing is necessary for the dwarf to be extracted from the castle.

The cleric moved up alongside Luminmorn and kneeled at the side of the battered dwarf.

Hearing Ryssa had spent all of her healing already. The dragon born offered "I can utlize my powers to heal him more. I am just less efficient about healing. I can do more using my talents for combat." He shrugged, and offered another suffusion of glowing hands.
