Also, at one point either you or Kel told me what the Horsemark for the Knights of Roth were. Mikal saw it on the horses during the dream sequence at the Lone Pine Inn. He had intended to resurrect it and start using it for his Troop. Can you tell me again what it is?

But what you're looking for are the Horsemarks. If I recall correctly what Wolf said, Mohlkavin's Heavy Horse is the descent of the Knights of Roth... their horsemark is the used by the Knights. Didn't you say you wanted to use the same colors, but with chevrons? I think I recall Mikal telling Dazi that when they were talking about the Dragoons. So, Just looking for the colours. Harry has them? Sop I can look at what it shown there....... .....ok, so red and black checkerboard pattern. And it appears no one uses chevrons of any kind. So, a black chevron above a red chevron. Like this: ....that actually works out well as he already has those paint colours for his shield.

Bekkah's little artist Rhoni friend would suggest just giving the impression of a black piece by outlining it in white. Gosh, and her friend just brought her a LOT of white pigment. Of course, it's not easy to come by, and her friend put herself in some amount of danger to get it for Keiko. I had expected to paint a white rectangle and then paint the black and red chevrons over that.
Note, Harry's troop would have the same problem as would every troop that has black in it's Horsemarks. | | | | Joined: Jul 2011 Posts: 7,944 Sower of Insanity Member | Sower of Insanity Member Joined: Jul 2011 Posts: 7,944 | Sure. Anyone with a black horse wouldn't paint the black, though. Or paint white on a white horse. Use less paint, let the horse's natural hair color do the work for you. <shrug> But you're the one who's going to be paying for the dyes! I'll try to find a way to get back in again at some point, I suppose.
Sure makes her look a bit the idiot though.

That's good business there. And by the time you head back up to the town, we might be finished in Keiko's loft. I'll tune back in when my input has some impact again, I guess.. I had thought it might work out so people could still do the dinner thing In the theoretical evening instead of being pushed forward and presumed skipped.

Mikal (and I presume Cesare and Peitro) are coming for dinner. It has been only a few minutes since Kadri left. All we've done since we left the stable was walk up the stairs and chat. Can't be more than 5-10 minutes. It is not possible that Mistress Heatherson could have gotten dinner setup in 10 minutes, unless we're not eating hot food.
I expect to show Pietro a bed (5 minutes), head down to the Mill to see about his getting some grain for Djinni (10 minutes, unless we run into Keiko et al there and get distracted), and then go to meet Kadri.
All-in-all shouldn't be more than 1/2 hour since Kadri left them before they show back up.

On the other hand it will take more than a half hour for the trip up to the watchtower and back .... Heck I can't get from my office to my car in the parking garage the quickly and I have an e!evator to help!
And the distance to the tower is just a Lil more ... Add to that not being in a rush and conversations along the way ... It is not inappropriate to have kadris meal starting ... It isn't over yet!
