It was so much easier to believe that from an Orc rather than a human, no dissembling or concealment. Then again, a tribal sentry wasn't exactly in 'Glasstaff''s league. He nodded curtly.

She has half an ear on the conversation, the rest of her attention is on keeping watch. She hopes they can find out what they need here, it will make things easier.

Then he hears a question about the "Arrows". He seems to know the answer but doesn't know what number goes with the answer. He didn't do well in orc math school. He listens and watches, not just the orc but the faces of his companion's too.
Some are fixed on the orc, some are more attentive to the surround.
Their orc captive is proving to be a subpar performer, but a fisherman doesn't always catch minnows or whales, sometimes they just hook a soggy old boot.
Chandan twizzles his hair.

He continues to keep an ear and out for any trouble, but is also listening in to the orc's answers and not liking the quality of information they are getting so far from the dumb orc. She is ready and half wishes the orc would bolt. She is not sure what Kriv hopes to gain from this, certainly not to promote his self esteem as she thinks it a stupid move. He risks injury or death and as a group they cannot afford either.
She decides that she did not give her word so she'll wait and see if Kriv needs help.

The orc, now freed, had no desire to run. It picked up it's great axe, lift's it over it's head and charges at the dragonborn.
orc initiative,hit,damage if it hits
Neptune rolled 1d20+1,1d20+5,1d12+3 and got 19, 18, 6 (looks like a hit and that Kriv will take 6 pts damage.
AJ, roll your initiative, to-hit and damage. If you win initiative, roll your round 2 attack and damage.
The orc is AC 13 and has 15 hp
I think we can bang this melee out quickly.

If he seemed concerned as the Orc, fractionally quicker, got in a solid hit with its axe, it certainly didn't show. He swung his Maul sharply, twice. The wet crunch at the end of the second swing said it all.

The orc got his shot it but Kriv finished him off easily.
