Well, MikeD, once you've taken off your shoes, belt, and other clothes to go thru the scanner, how much trouble can you cause......? lol

Oh ... you have =NO= idea <weg>

I have always said that ... =IF= we =REALLY= wanted security ... we should all have to strip down and all of out 'stuff' would get stuffed into a 'drone' that was towed behind the plane <g> If folks were embarrassed by the nudity, there could be 'TSA jump suits' for us to wear. No shoe bombs, no hidden weapons (I hate to tell you how easy it would be to get a deadly weapon onto a plane <sigh>), not problem <chuckle>

You'd need everyone to undergo a cavity search as well......

I suspect that the 'scanners' could sort that out, but if not ... I would be willing to make sure that all the cute girls are safe <weg>

New map.

Actions please? Tracks lead towards the wall on the left, where a Secret Door is easily found.

"I'm not sure we should leave this family here, alone. Why don't we escort them out and come back? First, let me check this door here. Step back please."

He ushers everyone away from both doors, out of the 15' long corridor, back into the room with the sarcophagi. From afar, he tries to unlock or open both doors with his invisible arcane hand.

The Secret door opens easily. The other door remains locked.

"that will only give them more time to 'regroup', Lingo. I think we should press on." He looked at the former prisoners. "It is your choice whether to stay here and wait for our return or come with us. I happen to think the former is your safer choice, but it is up to you."

The cleric of Lathander, as had been her wont, left the strategic decisions up to the warriors and stood back, awaiting a decision.

In the back of her mind a thought nagged her: she would need to rest soon to recharge the spells granted her by her deity.

The thought of leaving some valuable treasure locked behind a door was like a drug. He didn't want to open the door, he needed to.

"Lemme try again. If I can't do it, I'll come back later."

After another minute of working on the door, Lingo finally hears the click of the lock opening.

As Lingo opens the door, he gets his rapier ready.

Racks of weapons line the walls of this chamber, including spears, swords, crossbows, and bolts. A dozen dirty red cloaks hang from hooks near the door.

He is ready for battle. Yet he can't imagine the persons hiding might not know they were coming.

It turns out to be a cat closet. Why on all that is green would they lock that? Well Lingo would find out. He almost stamped his foot in frustration.

"He =did= come this way ... right", he asked rhetorically as he looked around. "Have we been through that door", he asked pointing at the door in the right wall [[ to room 6 ... that isn't a secret door is it? ]].

(MikeD - Room 6 is where Lingo is searching. You saw the tracks leading to the Secret Door on the lefthand wall, the one that goes to Room 7, and Lingo told you it was not locked, but no one has opened it or gone thru yet.)

DM

Lingo searches through the Armory and finds 12 Spears, 6 Shortswords, 4 Longswords, 6 Light Crossbows, and 8 Quivers holding 20 Crossbow Bolts apiece, along with the 12 Red Robes hanging on hooks on the wall, but nothing else.

Anyone who wishes can make an Insight Check here to infer where Iarno may be going.

"OK ... so that wasn't much help, shall we try the other way", he asks pointing to the 'secret' door. But he couldn't help but wonder what the fellow's plan was. He didn't seem panicked, but seemed to be up to something ...

She continues to wait for a consensus to develop but is becoming impatient herself.

Perception Check: 1d20+5 = 19

Insight Check: 1d20+2 = 18

[OOC: Not sure why I rolled the Perception Check instead of Insight that first time around.]

He has been looking around, not interested in the weapons room and worried about people coming up from behind on them.
