[ooc: Medicine is used to 1) Stabilize a dying PC 2) Diagnose an illness. So the answer is no. However, during a short rest PCs can use hit dice to heal. You get 1 per level.]
With the ruffians dispatched, the three freed prisoners get ready to leave. The woman turns to Jaliera and Kallista and says. "Thank you for freeing us. "I wish that I could reward you somehow." She hugs both women and then, at just about the time Chandan gets there, she looks up and then bites her lower lip as she remembers something.
""When I was a young girl, I lived in a town called Thundertree. But undead overran the place. My parents owned an herb and alchemy shop there and when we fled, we forgot to take a case that was hidden beneath a section of storage shelves. We never dared return to retrieve it, but mother said there was a beautiful emerald necklace. You seem like the fearsome sort that might venture to go to a place like that. It's a family heirloom, but it's yours if you find it. The shop was in the southeast part of Thundertree."
She simply nodded at the monk, showing obvious fear of Chandan who she regarded as either evil or crazy. She gathered her children and proceeded down the tunnel that led out to the woods. The boy turned once to wave before they disappeared into the darkness.
He bows his head respectfully to the mother and returns the boy's wave with a genial smile.
Once the family were safely on their way, Chandan feels happier but still not happy that they've done enough...
"We must find the Redbrands' records." He says to Kallista and Jaliera, "There were discarded clothes for at least twelve other captives in the dungeon. Records may tell us where they are, and what their purpose is."
He applies salve if either volunteer their scrapes. It doesn't do much but smells pleasant.
He does not want to go to exploring quite just yet until the three skeletal abominations to nature are dealt with.
"Before we go any further, I'd like to destroy these skeletons for good."
He does not know if attacking one would cause the other two to join in or not, but perhaps they can at least separate them into the prisoners cages first.
He waved a dismissive backhand towards the druid, signalling permission if he wished to take on the skeletons, then indicated to the prisoners to leave the room they were in and head towards the next door.
"Now, I presume you knew those three were out there, yet did not inform us, leading to your own men getting slaughtered. Again. Would you care to let us know if there are any more out there at present? If there are and you do not, their deaths will be added to your crimes."
Gathering up the old iron swords that the three skeletons abandoned when the proper password was spoken, he will hide the swords in a barrel or box in the previous room they just came from. Then with the skeletons disarmed he will gently prod one with his quarterstaff to see if it will move towards to one of the cages where the human prisoners were held.
[ooc: Would his druidcraft give him any idea on how to put these skeletons at rest permanently? ]
She stays and watches Davroar thinking he may need help to dispatch these skeletons and she is ready to do that, rapier is still in her hand at the moment. She stands close to a skeleton, ready to fight it if it moves.
Standing slightly behind and to the side to one of the skeletons, he slides his quarterstaff through the skeletons pelvic girdle and across the left femur. Then using his staff as leverage he will attempt tp snap the skeletons leg off. Provided that works the skeleton should be relatively harmless having lost a leg, and he will proceed to methodically take it apart with his staff, scattering the bits into the prisoner area to prevent it from every re-joining itself again.
[ooc: For Davroar. OK, I'll take that as an attack. Please roll to hit, with advantage. You've just awakened the Lich! (Just kidding about the Lich). Everyone, roll for initiative.]
He stood by impassively: This was Davroar's choice, thus upon Davroar the consequences needed to fall. He watched and waited, only willing to intervene if the mindless security system turned against him, in which case that element of it would be due destruction. Failing that, the Druid had brought this upon himself.
When Davroar decides to destroy the skeletons, that act breaks whatever hold was keeping them from animating and they attack. Fortunately, Jaliera was ready for trouble and thrusts her rapier at the skeleton that was attacking her before it could complete the swing of it's own blade. She sees that she broke a bone in it's shoulder before it attacks.
OOC: OK, I see the post where Davroar wants to try and remove the blades from the skeletons. That would be the triggering action, even though I did not answer so right away. There is only room for two melee fighters so Jaliera and Davroar are the ones up front. I've noted the damage that Davroar did, but technically, he doesn't go yet. The status below includes the initiative order so Kallista and Chandan can go. Then the skeletons, then Davroar and Kriv.
Note that you may climb onto the crypts but climbing up or down costs 1 square of movement each. Jumping from one to another requires a Dex check or you fall, take damage and are prone. Davroar is the only one with advantage on the attack but Jaliera hit either way They are AC 13.
He pays little heed to the ongoing battle, aside from basic tactical awareness. He lets those eager to throw themselves into the teeth of the disarmed trap do so, it wasn't as if his opinion of humans could get much lower.
