"Right behind you Luminmorn", he said with a wicked looking, pulling his rapier.

(OOC - Just going to let Balthazar and Lingo chime in. Then, as I understand it you are going to charge into the southern room, Luminmorn first, Bern second, then Ryssa, Lingo, and Balthazar?)

"What about being quiet and not getting flanked in a fight with occupants of both groups didn't you get Lumi? No. Don't make noise at all. Let's do the south door first. I wish there was a way we could secure the other door until we were ready to deal with that group."

"As I suggested earlier, once we get in, Lingo, you should see if you can lock or 'jam' the door while we take care of the belligerents."

"I am open to whatever idea we think is best. I was just offering. So silent to the right first?" He shifts position to go with that plan.

"Yeah. I looked at the doors. Unless one of you magic guys can come up with something, there's no way to block it. But they seem to be busy and occupied over there to the RIGHT with something. I'm not sure, but they sounded like they're having fun. So, if we leave them alone and if we go into the room to the LEFT first and close the door behind us, they probably won't bother breaking away from whatever they're doing."

He does all this while pointing to the door on the left when he says left and the door to the right when he says right to make sure the dragonborn understands him.

"OK, lets do this", he said. With a nod to Lminmorn, he threw the door open and prepared to follow him into the room, his rapier at the ready.

He goes in the door that has been picked. He doesn't yell in fact he moves as quietly as he is able. He moves into battle.

(OOC - OK, to be clear, you are all going to rush ahead and pile into the room as fast as possible, with the last person closing the door behind you? Hmmm. Nice time for a pit trap in front of the door <weg>. Anyway, since you don't know the layout of the room, or how big it is, or if you'll all fit, I am going to pause at the moment you open the door and reveal the room to you. You will have surprise, which means you will all get to act in round 1 without the enemy being able to act.

What I will need from you is an Initiative roll to decide who goes first, and then your action, including the exact space you are moving to. Remember if you can't all fit then some will be left in the hallway.

Post coming when I get home.)

The door opens and Luminmorn rushes in, followed immediately by the rest of the party. You see before you a room, roughly 15x25. It is clearly a small barracks containing 4 roughly built wooden bunks. There are heaped-up blankets and dirty dishes scattered about. A strong smell of unwashed bodies and rotten meat fills the air.

Three tall, furry humanoids are lounging among the mess, barking orders at a sad little Goblin that is demeaning itself for their amusement. At your sudden appearance, all heads turn towards you, and with a swoon, the Goblin says "Eeek!" and faints dead away.

You recognize the furry humanoids as the same monster who fought you so viciously in the Goblin caves. Bugbears! One of the Bugbears wears a jeweled eye-patch (B3).

You have surprise. I need initiative rolls from everyone and you will all get to act on turn one while the Bugbears will not. The turn 2 order will depend on everyone's initiative.

If you enter the room I need specific coordinates of where you are moving to to make sure you all can fit (see map edge). Remember, if you move into, and then out of, an enemies threat radius it gets an Opportunity Attack on you.

Name (Initiative) - (Full HP/Current-Damage):

Luminmorn (xx) - 24/0
Lingo (xx) - 15/0
Bern (xx) - 20/4
Balthazar (xx) - 16/5
Ryssa (xx) - 17/0

Bugbear1 (17) - x/0
Bugbear2 (17) - x/0
Bugbear3 (17) - x/0

Balthazar

He plans to guard the rear or second to rear with his dagger out. He really does not like close quarters!

Lingo will linger with Balthazar while the brutes go bashing down doors. He leans against the wall knowing that there will be much blood spilled before he can shoot an arrow from is bow.

Ryssa

The cleric, bow drawn and arrow nocked, stayed in the hallway about two paces back from the doorway, trying to leave enough space between herself and the door for the other two (Lingo and Balthazar) to see into the room.

She immediately aimed her bow for the bugbear with the jeweled eye patch.

[OOC: I don't remember Ryssa ever agreeing to that plan. I know Luminmorn said he was going to rush into the room and Bern agreed and Ryssa agreed as far as which door they'd open, but she never said anything about rushing into the room behind them... I just went back and checked. She moved aside to allow Luminmorn and Bern to lead the way, but she never said she'd rush heedlessly into the room behind them.]

(OOC - EX - OK, just wanted to verify. From there, approx the middle of the three hallway squares, you can't see B3. You can only see B1 so I'll presume that'll be your target.)

DM

The party rushes into the room using the hastily agreed to plan. Luminmorn swings the door open and engages the first target he sees, moving to one side to leave room for others to enter behind im. Bern, following closely on Luminmorn's heels swings to his left after entering and finds himself amidst the three Bugbears. He notes there was also a Goblin in the room, but who fainted dead away when he saw you all enter.

Balthazar and Lingo enter behind the two fighting types, staying back as best they can to be out of hand-to-hand combat range.

Those who were expecting to hear the sound of a closing door may note that sound missing. Ryssa, who had never agreed to the plan, decided to stay out in the hallway with her bow.

OK. Everyone can take their attack. We will assume you have already done your move. The Bugbears get no action. So you are all up.

Name (Initiative) - (Full HP/Current-Damage):

Ryssa (19) - 17/0
Bern (17) - 20/4
Balthazar (17) - 16/5
Bugbear1 (17) - x/0
Bugbear2 (17) - x/0
Bugbear3 (17) - x/0
Luminmorn (12) - 24/0
Lingo (6) - 15/0

Taking one step forward to the door opening, the cleric fired her arrow at the bugbear at the southern wall.
