Clicking on the game title will take you to that forum. Clicking on the category will show you all of the games in that category. The great thing now is that GMs can alter the status of their games via the Admin link in Games List but you must be in your forum to do this. This is still under development and so the only things a GM can currently do at the moment is to tick 'Show in List?' if they want it to be displayed in the Games List Box. And to select status for Recruiting - Yes, No, Maybe. And 'Save'! | | | | Joined: May 2000 Posts: 2,732 Member | Member Joined: May 2000 Posts: 2,732 | Is it possible to mark the Games List in some way, so that games which are *on hold* for whatever reason are indicated as such?
That would really help a lot for those of us who are looking for games to join. Otherwise, when you look at the Games List, you see plenty of "Yes" and "Maybe" tags. But after spending a few minutes in the games' section, you discover that the game(s) just aren't moving.
A game's OOC section will often make it pretty clear why a specific game isn't running. But sometimes, you really just have to guess. Maybe the recruiting column for a game could just be blank during that time?
Thanks!

The GMs could certainly put up a clear message stating it's on hold or at least changing the recruiting toggle to no.

That will give you a list of, well, active topics. Simply browsing that will give you a firm idea of what games are active. | | | | Joined: May 2000 Posts: 2,732 Member | Member Joined: May 2000 Posts: 2,732 | Thanks, Neil...Good suggestion! I didn't even think about that one.

Still trying to decipher all the clues on the message board to tell me which games are actually running or not and/or which are currently recruiting or not. It's a real mystery sometimes. <g>

So basically for your purposes, Doretta, active topics is the one you want. | | |
