He raises his eyebrows in delight when Blake dumps several of the energy bars on the bed. Quickly he scoops them up and slips them under the mattress for now.
"Yes, yes. Thanks Blake. I will make sure Dash has a few too."
He looks over to Hadaasha again. She is still moving way too fast.
"Perhaps, once she takes a moment to sit down I will give her one."
Cecil will want to keep a couple left to have on the day or night that they make their attempt to escape.
"So, how many 'survivors' are you looking at?"
Cecil figures that they would need to keep the group as small as possible, otherwise if there is too many it would probably increase the chance of them getting caught. Ne nods in agreement. Keeping to under ten people seems smart to him.
His stomach growls at him as he has not eaten anything yet for breakfast. He wants to keep the energy bars for later, so he will stand up and say, "I'm going to see about breakfast." He hopes that his nap did not take him past breakfast.

There is food provided, it’s usually more like gruel in a common area.

He nods and takes his leave from Blake. Arriving in the common room, he quietly takes a bowl of gruel and finds a spoon that is passably clean. Sitting down on a bench he keeps his head down for most of the time as he eats it without really tasting it. Washing the last of it down his throat with a glass of water, he stands up and returns the bowl and spoon to a tray heaped with dirty bowls.
His stomach is no longer growling at him and will walk around the compound a bit to help his digestion, before planning to go back to his room. | | |
