Note: Zindra is doing a move, move until she's no longer in long distance. If you look at the tactical map those ovals and concentric ovals are 10 feet in elevation, blocking much of the view. The elk riders are doing the same.


Zindra

The scout urges her mount to race forward. Stopping now to fire arrows over hills that are difficult to see over at such a long distance would be foolish. Getting close enough to really help out was more important in her mind.

(OOC - When it is Zhu's turn she is doing the same as Zindra. At 600 feet she also isn't firing a bow. She needs to close to 300 feet for the first of her spells to be in Range. I suppose closing range is faster then normal since the barbarians are moving closer as well. But let me know when she gets to between 300-400 as she might then be able to act.)

ooc: That's kinda what I want to hear from everyone. We're going to handle movement one round at a time because the tactical situation may change every round until you do clash.

OOC: Aubric will move along with the crowd. He's got two actions in mind:
- If combat looks inevitable, he'll cast Bless on the likely fighters (Kriv, Pavel, Zhu) before they leave his range.
- He heard Jaliera indicate the barbarians venerate the divine and he's trying to think of a spell that might give an indication of divine protection for the wagon. Thinking of casting Spiritual Weapon (can cast as bonus action on same turn as bless) when they are close enough (probably about 120-150 feet) where he can put it in between them and the party, not using it for melee attack but hopefully as a sign/symbol. Lacking more detail about what divine they venerate, he'd probably make it look like an elk, or possibly just a giant set of antlers.

OOC1: That's good. Just remember that you and your mounts have separate actions. So you all get your actions and bonus actions while mounted even though your mounts are doing a move-move. You do not have your move unless, like Kriv, you are unmounted. Unmounted combatants have a choice of using their move and a dash (a double move) and a bonus action or a move and another action plus bonus actions.

OOC2: If you are trying to ascertain whether combat is imminent, you need to roll insight DC 10. It is an "action".

OOC: Just stating my intentions up front. I'm last in initiative order and will make the call on my turn. I'd rather just cast Bless too soon than spend an action to see if I should cast it and not be able to. smile

OOC: OK, had to do math. By my turn we'll be 400 feet away from the wagon and elk riders but everyone else will close within range to attack before my next turn. So I'll cast Bless on my turn, targeting 3: Zindra, Zhu, Jaliera.
