Ken passed yesterday He was in the hospital for a valve replacement in his heart and there was internal bleeding from the procedure they couldn't stop. I'm stunned, in tears and feeling very lost right now. He was my brother and my posting buddy. His family asked that I let you guys know and feel free to message me with any questions.

Can't believe it. Ken was one of our Greats. Always friendly, that's why he made such a good Membership Sysop, always full of ideas and enthusiasm, such a big part of DreamLyrics. He will leave a large hole here. In talking to Asta, I had an idea for a tribute to him, a forum in his memory where anyone could pop in and play. Where 2 or 3 could get together and just start a thread. No need for a formal GM, just a couple or so people with an idea that could be the basis of a game, long or short. It would be a great place for newcomers to get started, a great place to explore an idea, try out something new, maybe even a taste of GMing. I think he would approve. | | 1 member likes this:

I haven't been here in a long time, but I saw the news on FB. This came shortly after a childhood friend of mine, the same age as me, just passed away in a similar situation. My father passed away a year ago. It is sobering to realize you are at this age.
Ken was one of the friendliest guys I know. In my long years on CS, he is one of the few I can recall who I do not remember ever exchanging a heated word with anyone.
I still feel guilty for one time, in a thread I am sure no one else including him, would ever remember, where I snapped at him about something dumb. He just apologized and let it go.
I never met him in person, but always felt like he was one of the people I "knew" from online. | | |
