Well, that's just the raw map; the contents would be added by the GM each time. Also, those are double-sided.

And you could blank out sections to change shape, access routes etc.

True true. Often times you just need to quickly slap down a room for a quick reference, and the mats have plenty of choice. You could blank off doorways that aren't relevant to the combat, like you suggested, Gypsy.

Taking that approach, you have nice, foldable Swiss Army knife. Double-sided too, like you say, Argus.
