RL still has me in its toothy maw.

I'd been waiting to post this, but the preparation has been consuming a lot of my free time (as Miales' nag notes have confirmed) so may as well post this now.

I'll be on vacation from October 13-30. Yes, it's a long vacation. Yes, it's the first time I've been able to take extended travel during the school year since I'm now officially an "empty nester". And the pre-vacation week is making me earn the dang thing.

Details on current week (ramp-down):
1. I'm super-busy this week with tying up things at work and getting detailed hand-off materials ready for my boss to cover me.
2. On top of that I'm volunteering several after-hours hours to finish up improving the stability of a significant customer that requires a little bit of work over multiple days and multiple hours. If you like podcasts, you'll appreciate my efforts.
3. On top of that I'm the treasurer for not one, but two nonprofits, one of which is in dues season and the other is in budget season. All just a few hours of volunteer work but sucking up what little free time I have before vacay.
4. I'm also interviewing else-job. Don't tell my current job. But if I was slow this weekend it was 'cause interview prep was more important than updating some games here.
5. Oh, and sportsball (one) plus sportsball (two) plus Mrs. Aqua is a Swiftie and some album just dropped and there was a movie release party date night.
6. Oh, and kidlets at college will actually be coming home this coming weekend before heading off again.
7. And we have housesitters/petsitters who will love on our furry friends while we're gone and we have to prep everything for them.

Details on current month:
- Oct 13: Flight before sunrise. Why did I pick this flight? May finish up stuff in airports, mostly to close out anything needing closed out.
- Oct 14-17: Mouse. Will occasionally update stuff but will be slow. There's a Wine & Dine festival at Epcot and I'll be Wining and Dining.
- Oct 18-19: (Mouse-owned) Beach. Will avoid updating stuff but might from my phone if bored. Or might just stare at waves because unplugging is good.
- Oct 20-24: (Mouse-ship) Ocean. Won't update 💩. Really. If you see me post during these days, yell at me.
- Oct 25: Mouse + Race Expo. Might update on phone just to see if anything's urgent. Which it probably won't be.
- Oct 26: Mouse Half Marathon that I haven't trained for, but the medal is Lady & the Tramp. Followed by dinner at Tony's Town Square Restaurant where Mrs. Aqua and I dined first on our honeymoon and did the noodle slurp thing.

- Oct 27-29: Mouse with friends. Probably won't care about updating at this point.
- Oct 30: Fly home. Might try to catch up in airport but will probably miss stuff.
- Oct 31: Day off at home. Will really try to catch up then, whilst hiding from trick-or-treaters.

Sorry for being absent. Have several large appraisals that I am working my way through. Should be caught up by this weekend with luck.
