I just finished watching a sportsball game. Baseball, to be precise, which is an American variation of cricket, because we're rebels and can't do anything the Brits do.

Anyway, my sportsball team (Seattle Mariners) just lost after having a 10 game winning streak. While mildly disappointing, the 10-game streak was more fun because of how it started.
The Mariners had just lost four straight games, and six out of the last seven. A fan, in desperation, hired a witch on Etsy for $20 to cast a spell to
"get their act together and start winning baseball games again.". Apparently the spell worked, for a time.
Anyway, during tonight's game I saw the acronym GIDP on the TV, as something a batter had done previously, and I had to look it up. It apparently stands for "Grounded Into Double Play".
No, it's not a good thing.
But maybe you can make it a good thing? Toss me your GIDP acronyms!
