We're probably all familiar with Reiner Knizia's Lord of the Rings co-operative board game. And we're probably all aware that it inspired an even more popular family of games, Matt Leacock's Pandemic. Well now Leacock's made a Lord of the Rings-themed Pandemic, bringing us full circle. https://www.gamesradar.com/games/board-games/fate-of-the-fellowship-review/ Playing times look similar, similar number of players too. Has the development journey of Fate of the Fellowship led to a more refined game than Knizia's granddaddy? I guess we'll find out when reviews of actual play arrive.
