And then showers. And then meeting up with others. And some interesting inter-personal dynamics then! | | | | Joined: May 2000 Posts: 80,971 Likes: 83 Wizop Administrator | OP Wizop Administrator Joined: May 2000 Posts: 80,971 Likes: 83 | I need to do some development on DUC and bring you all back together. Just trying to figure out what my character Henri might suggest for supporting them during the tournament. I found this website page but it really did not inspire me that much. https://brand.york.ac.uk/guidelines...age/593c9d02-73e9-4784-bfc5-8409cf57c644 | | | | Joined: Jan 2023 Posts: 8,294 Likes: 21 Coordinator of Chaos Moderator | Coordinator of Chaos Moderator Joined: Jan 2023 Posts: 8,294 Likes: 21 | It looks like they have they have the ever popular "No Mascot".
The best examples of this is the names of their teams for the Roses Tournament which had names such as Men's Lacrosse Varsity 1 and Men's Lacrosse Varsity 2. So I'd guess we could make up our own team unofficial team name for the group. | | | | Joined: May 2000 Posts: 80,971 Likes: 83 Wizop Administrator | OP Wizop Administrator Joined: May 2000 Posts: 80,971 Likes: 83 | Some thoughts. York is probably the most historic city in the UK but at the same time vibrant with lots of street performers and artists. In the War of the Roses (late 1400s) Yorkshire's elblem was the white rose, still is today. Yorkshire folk are quiet, reliable, solid folk who are honest to the point of rudeness. They are proud of their heritage. They drink strong tea. Farming is a prime industry Happy you guys come up with something | | | | Joined: May 2010 Posts: 17,675 Likes: 32 Mayhem Inc. Putting that into the generator it gave a bunch of suggestions: York Battle MMA Towton Vale MMA Yorkshire Fight Club Towton Battle Gym York Power MMA Vale Battle Arena Steel York MMA Towton Force MMA York Strength Gym Vale Combat Club Personally the two I like the most are "Steel York MMA" and "York Power MMA". | | | | Joined: May 2000 Posts: 80,971 Likes: 83 Wizop Administrator | OP Wizop Administrator Joined: May 2000 Posts: 80,971 Likes: 83 | Interesting. 1-5 = 1 pin down
6-11 = 2
12-20 = 3
21-31 = 4
32-44 = 5
45-59 = 6
60-74 = 7
75-84 = 8
85-94 = 9
95-100 = strike
I can work out a % chance of a spare depending on how many pins you have left. If yoy want a machanism? Did I tell you I used to be a bowler? Played in 3 leagues a week, even bowled in an occasional national tournament, usually getting knocked out in the first round! | | | | Joined: Jan 2023 Posts: 8,294 Likes: 21 Coordinator of Chaos Moderator | Coordinator of Chaos Moderator Joined: Jan 2023 Posts: 8,294 Likes: 21 | More random than just rolling a 1d10 for it... | | | | Joined: May 2000 Posts: 80,971 Likes: 83 Wizop Administrator | OP Wizop Administrator Joined: May 2000 Posts: 80,971 Likes: 83 | Used my experience to adjust the odds a bit! | | | | Joined: Jun 2002 Posts: 10,786 Likes: 3 Administrator | Administrator Joined: Jun 2002 Posts: 10,786 Likes: 3 | So going by your chart, on your first ball you are guaranteed to take out a least one pin? Wish my odds were like that when I occasionally bowled in real life. I can not remember how many times my ball went into the gutter much to my disappointment. | | |
