Ian

Ian hangs up and turns to Tony. "She's on her way down in a few. I'll be right back."

That said he heads back to the canteen looking over the selections and picking up a few items that he thinks Emma would like then grabbing a cider for her. After paying, he heads back food in hand and an eye out for Emma.

Emma

Emma came down wearing a simple outfit, black skirt, white top, with a white sweater thrown over, just in case. Looking around for Ian, she moves over to where her friends were and grabs a nearby seat. "So what have I missed?"

[OOC My bad, it is Gordon]

Henri & Miranda

Gordon leads the way to Linda's room, Hilary by his side.

"Let's not worry yet guys."

But she still looks worried.

As they arrive the door is open. Linda is on a bed, facing the wall, on her side and with one leg bent propping her up. She appears to be asleep. Miranda straightens and half turns towards them, still watching Linda.

"She's asleep. I put her in the recovery position just in case."

Hilary pauses for a moment.

"Well she seems to be in good hands. You have my number if you need me. I will need to talk to her later, and to her room mate. Someone gave or sold her something. I need to get to the bottom of that. Please keep your eyes open and let me know if you hear or see anything."

She looks around at them, nods and heads out.

"Shut the door please."

Miranda sounds very subdued.


Emma and Ian

Emma arrives at the cafeteria and spots Ian chatting with Tony. She also sees Sarah singing at the front of a group of folks with guitars. She has just reached the chorus line. Several of the 'audience' join in and most join in with the three clap beat. The atmosphere is buzzing. On the table Emma finds a cider and a prawn sandwich, closest thing to seafood that Ian could find.

Levon and Skye

...bearing all.. emotionally at the top of the stairs.

Levon

"Fuck easy."

He grabbed her at the waist and pulled her close and kissed her passionately for more than a moment. Then he whispered into her ear "Let's get off this staircase."

{fade out scene}

Henri

In a noncommittal tone he quietly says "Ok" in acknowledging Hilary's request to keep his eyes open for anything suspicious just as she leaves. Turning to Gordon he plainly says, "You better find Linda's roommate quick, and look after her too."

Henri feels that he has helped enough in getting Linda out of a dangerous situation at the pool and really does not want to get involved any deeper with these two if at all possible. He has had enough drama for today and suspects Miranda is feeling less than enthusiastic about this whole situation too. Walking quietly up to Miranda he says, "I'm going to get some clothes on, anything I can do for you before I go?"

Miranda turns towards Henri, she has tears in her eyes and a big red mark around her left eye.

"Oh Henri."

She turns to Gordon blurting her words out.

"I am so sorry. I was helping her into the room and she suddenly freaked, lashed out at me. I reacted instinctively and went to block but instead I hit her head. Think I knocked her out. For a moment I thought I killed her. She is breathing OK though. Do you think we should get her some attention?"

Gordon look stunned and moves over to Linda for a closer look. He turns back but instead of the backlash that Miranda was expecting, he smiles sadly.

"I'm sorry you two got so involved.. and got hurt. Appreciate your help. I was floundering. She isn't at all like this usually. I really want to find out what happened, but for now I'll just sit with her and make sure she is OK. She seems to be breathing easier if anything."

Emma

Emma takes a bite of her sandwich, and washes it down with some of the cider. "Not bad, thanks Ian. How much do I owe you?" she asks, looking around the table at the others, seeing what conversations might be afoot, aside from the three-clap beat going on with the performance.

Henri

A quick flash of anger sweeps over him as he finds Miranda hurt and in tears, yet he holds his tongue and takes two deep breaths. Quickly walking to Miranda, Henri gives her a gentle hug with his heart beating rapidly at first then slows down as he holds her. Henri really can not blame Linda being under the influence of drugs for what she did, yet it hurts him to see Miranda like this nonetheless.

Disengaging from the hug, he still keeps Miranda's hand in his as he turns to Gordon and says with a hint of irritation in his voice, "Merde, look how today has turned in to. Ok, we are going, Gordon."

With Miranda in her condition, Henri's previous thoughts of the inappropriateness in leaving Gordon alone with Linda has disappeared. Gently he leads Miranda to the door, and says to her, "She'll be fine. Lets take care of you now, d'accord?"

Henri & Miranda

Miranda gives him a weak grin, whispering..

"I do like those bits of french, they are sexy. And I'll be OK. I've taken knocks in practice before. Just the surprise and her getting past my defences I guess. What upset me the most was hurting her."

As she squeezes out of the door, she turns to Gordon.

"Good luck. Hope Linda is alright."

Emma & Ian

The loud song finishes and Sarah comes running over.

"Sorry, that is my favourite number."

She is slightly flushed, grinning and her eyes are shining. She grabs the can of coke that Tony had bought for her, opens it and takes a deep swig, then sits down, blowing Tony a kiss.

"Yeah I thought you'd want that after your performance."

He chuckles.

"We're both doing drama at Uni. It's where we met. So how long have you been together?"

Sarah smiles at them mischieviously.

Levon & Skye

Busy

Henri

He looks at Miranda with a sideways smile and figures she is tougher then him for sure. Walking with her back to her room in silence, he says "Ok, Miss tough girl, I'll leave you here. I'm probably going to catch a cold if I don't get into some proper clothes. Meet you downstairs in a few and lets find where everyone else is?"

"OK, see you at the front door.. and first there can text the others."

Miranda waggles her fingers at Henri and disappears into her room.

OOC: Letting Mina explain their relationship. Not certain exactly on all their history.

Levon

Henri

He jogs back to his dorm room, takes a quick hot shower, and then dresses into his nicer set of clothes since he was wearing his more casual jeans and shirt that are still in the pool's locker room. Figuring Miranda will be a bit longer than him, he will head back over to the pool. He
had left the pool with only himself in his swimming trunks. His phone and wallet are still help captive in the pool locker room along with his street clothes and shoes. Hopefully the maintenance guy has shown up and he can get inside to get his things.

The maintenance man is there at work and the lifeguard is watching over but now dressed in jeans and a Tshirt.

He explains that the pool will be closed for the rest of the day but that people can come and collect their belongings. Henri is able to get his things.

Henri

He steps back outside and thanks the lifeguard for letting him back in to get this clothes. As he walks back to his dorm to drop off his clothes he composes a text to everyone:

Emma

"Oh, you know... really great friends." That was all she was going to say about it... almost. "It's almost like a serial killer scared him off from asking me out or something." With that she gives Ian a smile.
