{Skye}

Levon was just a bit too eager, Skye thought with a laugh and slapped his bare chest. "Keep it in your pants, big boy." she whispered. But - she was curious where this was leading. In the meantime, she was ready to get out of the wet swimsuit.

"Back to the ranch, kids!" She shouted over to the rest of their crew. It seemed they were all fine and accounted for -- but Skye still had just a bit of that tiger mom instinct.

Henri

"Great. Thanks Ian. I'll see you there then." Henri will head back over to where Miranda has Linda, and will follow alongside Gordon. As soon as Linda is squared away back in her room, Henri plans to go to his room, get changed and then back to the pool to see if they got the power restored so he can get his stuff from the locker.

It starts a little like a rockfall. A few pebbles, then more, except it is people. As folks start to move back towards the dorms, others catch on to thhe idea and head the same way. In the end only the lifeguard remains behind waiting for the maintenance crew.

Skye, Levon, Carla and Wendy form one group, chatting happily and staying together. They are in the second wave.

Miranda, Linda, Henri and Graham form another, leading the pack as Miranda had started to lead Linda away at the beginning.

Tony and Sarah nod in agreement as Ian suggests the dorm as a destination. They are in the best situation as they had still been clothed but hanging around for an indetermined wait doesn't appeal to either.

"We'll head back with you. Beats staying here."

And so Ian, Emma, Tony & Sarah form part of the larger last group leaving the pool area.

As they all draw closer to the dorms, they can see Hilary walking rapidly towards the dorms, not looking surprised to see a lot of people mostly in swimming gear and some still dripping.

Emma

"The dorms for me, too. I think our night of fun is over." Sad she had been hoping to try out the pool. Well maybe another time. "We should have some towels and other things- maybe regroup in the cafeteria?"

Levon

They were near each other as the masses started to pour back into the dorms. "So, whatcha guys wanna do? I'm up for anything."

He was walking a tight rope that he wasn't used to walking. He had already learned that British men were more reserved and less forward than Americans - especially those from the hood. He couldn't quite go up to a woman and tell them what he wanted. They needed to feel like they were making a move. He was certainly hoping that one...or all of them shared his naughty thoughts and took that step.

Henri

He has a brief moment of indecision as he spots Hilary, but quickly says in a quiet voice to Gordon, "Going over to Hilary now to tell her about Linda. You want to come? Hilary might have more questions and you know more about Linda than I."

Tony and Sarah nod to Emma and Ian.

"Sounds like a plan. We'll change and see you there."

They head into the dorm moving left and right but to the downstairs areas, leaving Emma and Ian to make their way upstairs to their rooms.

Carla and Wendy exchange glances.

"Well we are in room 7 on the ground floor. Maybe you could come to us once you are in dry clothes? But watch out for Hilary."

Miranda replies. "I could take Linda to her room if you have a key. Just don't be long OK?"

Gordon fishes a key out of Linda's pocket. He turns to Henri.

"Think this is a good idea? I mean it makes it kind of official.."

Levon

"What the matter with Hilary?" he asks Wendy and Carla.

Henri

He shakes his head with a serious look and says to Gordon, "You'd rather roll the dice with this? Not tell anyone? I don't know Gordon, I think getting proper medical care is the best."

Henri feels there is too much unknown's with Linda's condition to just let her sleep it off.

Ian

Ian head to the room and changes into something more appropriate finishing the coffee he'd gotten at the pool. On the last drink he takes some Tylenol.

He heads back to the cafeteria and makes a bee line for some more coffee. After adding a little hazelnut creamer he looks around for Tony, Sarah, and Emma.

[OOC No issues but for flavour, neither Tylenol or hazelnut creamer available readily in UK. Paracetemol or cappacino might be close substitutes. Letting others catch up. ]

{Skye}

Even with Levon hoping to score a hat trick with the women, Skye did enjoy being chatty with Wendy and Carla as they walked. She also lightly prodded to see how the girls leaned - not that she was being competitive with Levon to steal one or both from him. But, the little game in her head made it even more fun, even if she didn't expect it to go anywhere...really. **Oh, those horny Americans...** she giggled.

"Looks like Hilary has a lot to deal with," Skye indicated with a nod. "I'm not sure she'll be worried about us."

Once they got to the dorms, Skye made the first move and gave Wendy and Carla big hugs as they parted to get some clothes on. "See you soon..." The American girl winked at both and pulled Levon along with her before he could make his move on the other girls. It kinda irked him and she loved it.

Outside the dorms, Henri waits with a reluctant Graham for Hilary's arrival. Miranda takes Linda to her room to wait with her whilst the young men talk to Hilary. She approaches, immediately launching into an apology.

"Sorry that your swim session got interupted. No idea what happened but you must be freezing. Let's get you inside to get dry."

She seems suprised that they are not already doing that for themselves.

Carla says "Well Hilary did say that mingling was discouraged, separate wings for men and for women, but as long as we are careful.."

She winks at Levon as she links arms with Wendy and heads to their room.

Skye does not pick up any of the vibes she was hoping for from either of the girls as she moves to escort Levon up the stairs.

As Emma and Ian head in to change, the first ready is Ian, men often being quicker than the ladies when it comes to changing clothes. He heads out to the canteen, their agreed meeting place with Tony and Sarah. He gets a coffee and waits for the others. It is quite busy in the canteen. A group of students, some with guitars, have pulled together some tables and chairs, chatting happily and tuning instruments. Sarah and Tony arrive, smile and wave and head over to Ian.

"Emma not coming then?" Tony asks.

Levon

"Tata ladies. We shall see you in a bit. I promise to be ... careful. If I come to fetch you, what room?" he says, walking backwards as he get dragged up the steps by Skye.

A few steps up he says to his pal, "You'll pay for this!" he scolds her as he smacks her behind.

Henri

He walks up to Hilary with a serious expression on his face. He does not like having to expose someone's possible drug problem like this without their consent, yet at the same time he does not want to have it on his conscience if Linda's health worsens.

"Hello Hilary", he points towards Miranda walking with Linda and continues to say in a quiet voice, "Linda is in a bad way. Under the influence of something, causing hallucinations. We managed to get her out of the pool just when the lights went out. Miranda is helping her to her room, but thought we better get a doctor or nurse to check on her."

Henri leaves it at that, not knowing how Hilary will react to the news.

[Emma & Skye to respond]

Ian

"Emma should be coming along shortly." Ian said casually. "Here let me call her. Something might have come up because the power outage."

{Skye}

Skye giggled as Levon smacked her. She ran up the stairs, but stopped at the landing and turned around suddenly. He had bounded up after her teasingly and nearly knocked her over trying to stop. She would never quite know why, but she took him in her arms with a big hug. Then leaned in and kissed him. Hard.

"Sorry." Skye finally pulled away from her friend. It was their first kiss. Probably their last. "I just got a little jealous. You should go play with the girls....they're all yours." she winked.


{mic drop!}

Emma and Ian

Emma's phone rings.

At the cafeteria, Ian, Sarah and Tony chat as they join the queue.

Tony: "It was weird about the electric being switched off. Why would someone do that? Unless the switch triggers as a safety measure if there is a fault?"

Sarah reaches the serving counter and selects a packet of crisps and a diet coke.

Sarah: "We'll probably find out later." She seems less interested than Tony. "Hey looks like something is starting up."

She points over to the group with guitars, who now start playing a Queen melody and a girl moves forward, stating to sing 'We will rock you'. She has a good voice, quite loud. This looks like a performance. Then two girls and two boys stand up and start dancing. There are a few encouraging whistles from the onlookers.

Henri and Miranda

Hilary looks at Henri and then at Graham, taking a moment to think.

"Do either of you know what she has taken and how much?"

This almost might be construed as an accusation. Graham certainly seems to be interpretting it that way.

"No. And I've never ever known her to take anything before. She has always been against it. We've been dating for about a year now, so I know her quite well. And I've been with her most of the time here. Been wracking my brains trying to think where she might have gotten something from and it can only have been here."

Hilary looks worried now and unsure of how to procede.

"What do you think we should do? I can make this official but if I do, they might cancel the competition. Maybe we should see how bad she is first?"

Skye and Levon

And what does Levon do...?

Levon

He enjoyed the kiss for a moment but pushed Skye away before she was pulled away.

"Girl, you send mixed signals. You're in or your out. You ain't never sent anything but gay signals. Are you playing me? I ain't never had a problem getting a straight girl. I was trying to share with my wing-man. If you're jealous, and you want this too," he says while running his hands down the side of his body, indicating that that was what 'this' meant, "I'm in and let's do it but I ain't ready for serious. If you're just teasing ... don't. I don't play that game."

She could tell from when she pressed herself next to him, that he was very ready.

Emma

As the phone rings, Emma looks to see who it is before answering. "Hello? Ian? What's up? I was just finishing changing..."

Henri

He does not want to be the whistleblower as his face shows some shock at this possibility of the whole competition getting cancelled when Hilary says it might happen just because of one athlete getting caught taking drugs.

"Oh! I, I didn't think that would happen." He looks to Gordon and says, "Gordon wanted to do the same thing. Let Linda sleep it off too. I thought I was doing the right thing, to convince Gordon to get Linda some medical attention in case something bad happens."

Henri shrugs his shoulders with some indecision in his own voice now and says, "Well, if Linda can safely recovery on her own, then I'll wont insist anymore."

Ian


While he was waiting for Emma to answer, he was watching the concert unfold eyes widening as he realized that it was Sarah who was singing. He was just about to comment to Tony when Emma picked up.

"I had a feeling you were. Tony and Sarah got here and were asking. Things are getting lively down here. We're near the impromptu concert. Sarah is singing." he paused before adding, "Did you want anything from the canteen? We could get it for you."

Emma

"Oh you are a darling! Well.." Emma pauses, thinking, "I would love something seafood, or of not that... something with a lot of meat and cheese on it. Maybe a cider to wash it down? Just let me know how much I owe you, and I will see you in a few!"

{Skye}

"Fuck..." She was embarrassed and just like before Levon just didn't get it all. So she'd just have to blurt it out. Standing there at the top of the stairs in some weird dorm barely wearing a very fashionable bikini. "You are such an ass sometimes. Listen. Don't preen." She took a breath.

"I'm bi - I like girls and boys. Always have. But I've had such a goddam crush on you since we met. But after Mortimer House...well I just went the other direction. It messed me up bad - and it was easier...easier for us to be pals and siblings....rather than...than something more...intimate. And I don't want to lose the that for that...but this trip....it just got to me finally after this last breakup."

She finally said it out loud. And just stood there. Defiant but feeling vulnerable. She hated it. Rosa Diaz would have understood.
