Stuck fast he has only his most important asset to add to the situation. For that he encourages Arus "you can do it," offering him inspiration to free Boris and save the horse.
Inspiration d8 to Arus for any action he so chooses. And Sindar will remain stuck.
There is little that either she or her horse can do to stop the mudslide so she sees the clumsy hill giant and realizes that it must've started the mudslide with a bad step. It has grabbed hold of a tree to stop it's slide. note that the hill giant is not prone. She marks it as her prey and fires at it. Both shots hit.
Zindra fires 2 arrows at the Hill Giant and hunter's mark Neptune rolled 1d20+8,1d20+8,1d8+3,1d8+3,1d6 and got 14, 22, 6, 11, 2
total 19 pts damage
Kriv, Bern and Pavel can go as they are not near each other.
With Zindra adjacent, the Dragonborn was incredulous to see her take potshots up the slope, given the relative fragility of a bow strung for firing in the face of incoming tonnes of rock and mud. "Save yourself first!" snapped the Dragonborn, as he magically enhanced his speed and raced to try and find the edge of the mudslide, particularly if there was something sturdy to secure a rope to beyond it so that others might be pulled to safety.
Bonus action cast Expeditious Retreat and dash. Action Dash. Move, head east full move dashing twice. Walking speed is 30ft, halved due to difficult terrain to 15ft, double dash gives a total move of 45ft (Presuming difficult terrain all the way) or three squares past the eastern map edge which Foundry will apparently not allow me to pass. I've left Kriv in his starting location pending movement by GM.
Glancing down at his horse he realizes he needs to do something. He draws his handgun crossbow and fires at the ground in front of his horse (Action Surge and Action). Spooking the horse and driving it towards the Web.
Horse secured in the web he turns his focus back to the giant. He realizes he needs to get closer. He scrambles through the tree to the other side (movement:5ft/1sq) and looks out at a copse of trees 20ft in front of the web. He focuses on a tree closer to the giant and casts Misty Step. (Bonus Action) Moving through the new tree, he finds a sturdy branch on the side closest to the giant (movement:5ft/1sq).
Pavel's Horse
The bolt strikes stone in front of the beast. Startled it tries to run away from it. A mass of stickiness slowing it to a stop.
[OOC: Retcon/changing my move with DM concurrence after all the confusion and later clarity over NPC death, damage, and stabilizing on the OOC thread.]
Aubric's decision to let his horse fend for itself has the inevitable outcome as the horse is knocked unconscious.
However, in the few seconds since, the cleric has realized how useful Zhu's Web is and while there is an uncertain threat and the need to conserve his healing resources for non-equine party members, a one-time healing to get the horse to (relative) safety seems worth it.
A creature of your choice that you can see within range regains hit points equal to 1d4 + your spellcasting ability modifier. This spell has no effect on undead or constructs.
Aubric Healing Word AquaDyne rolled 1d4+7 and got 9
Disciple of Life • PHB, pg. 60 Whenever you use a spell of 1st level or higher to restore HP, the creature regains additional HP equal to 2 + the spell’s level.
Blessed Healer • PHB, pg. 60 When you cast a spell of 1st level or higher that restores HP to a creature other than you, you regain HP equal to 2 + the spell’s level.
So horse regains 12 hp and Aubric regains 3 hp.
As the spell is instantaneous it does not break his concentration on Bless
Once the horse is healed Aubric whistles at it to join him in the web. The equine clambers to it's feet and trots up next to Aubric, finding itself stuck in the web. [Horse uses half movement to stand, the remainder of movement and Dash action to reach the web.]
While he could theoretically do something to attack the Giant, Aubric interprets the creature's hold on the tree branch to indicate the mudslide was an accident and that the giant is not a threat... yet, at least. He does continue to scour the top of the hillside for any other evidence of what Bern called unnatural... and of course thinks there may be more than one giant...
But rather than attack he focuses a bit of attention on his horse. Unsure of what damage may occur, he stands prepared to cast his Spare the Dying cantrip should the creature go unconscious again. [Ready Action]

I'm revising / easing up on a ruling ...
Kriv may move off the map but if he does, he must spend a movement to get back to the very edge of the combat map. He'll not be able to get any closer but he'll be out of the range of the mudslide. The same goes for anyone who wants to move out of harm's way. Kriv's horse is unconscious now. When the mudslide goes, it'll be swept into the raging river.
I need actions from those listed above in the status. Here's the current map:

OOC: Works for me. Exit stage right, looking for a place to tie a rope. In Kriv's mind fighting the giant in these conditions is incredibly foolhardy: Getting everyone and their horses to safety is much more important than denying safety to a giant which is already barely holding on, in accordance with his perspective.

OOC: The horse lives! I'd be grateful if anyone with healing could keep it that way, so it can try to get out of dodge asap as well.
DM Things didn't go as planned for Pavel. He fires his crossbow bolt at his horse's hooves. The bolt gets buried in the mud and the mount does not know what to make of all this and simply continues to struggle against the mud flow. It does not move.
Pavel moves across the tree tops and using his arcane ability to misty step closer to the giant.
Hp Wisdom save Neptune rolled 1d20 and got 16 Pavel's horse makes it's save vs getting scared by the crossbow fired at it in the mud.
Aubric attempts to urge his horse into the web. I need an animal handling roll from Aubric. Considering the conditions and the chaotic conditions, DC 12.
Kriv moves as fast as he can to the fringes of the mud slide.
I need an action for Bern and I might as well get actions from Jaliera and Zhu.
Bern Well he was headed to the webbed wagon. Once there he was going to use his bow on the giant. Just not sure where we are on that scenario at this point.

She is with Davroar and following his instructions. Principally:
Quote
"Follow your horse, staying up slope of her. Keep a firm grip, but don't wrap your hands around the reins in case your horse goes down. Horses are stronger than us, so use the reins to keep up if you slip."
Bern can certainly move towards the wagon but will not reach the wagon with a single move. However, he, unlike his allies, is able to move through the mud without it slowing him down.

Land’s Stride - Moving through nonmagical difficult terrain costs you no extra movement and you can also pass through nonmagical plants without being slowed by them and without taking damage from them. You have advantage on saving throws against plants that are magically created or manipulated to impede movement.
Unfortunately, the web is 35 away and his move is only 30. However, moving there doesn't offer him a better look at the giant. It's would remain behind a tree-line which offers it some measure of cover. Bern, who now gets 2 arrow shots per round due to his

Extra Attack - You can attack twice whenever you take the Attack action on your turn.
ability. But the only thing that cover provides is a +2 to the giant's AC and Dex saves against spells hurled at it that require one.
Jaliera
No roll needed but I am going to make the assumption that you are doing what Kriv is doing, moving off the map and taking yourself out of melee for your next turn.
Can I move Davroar and his horse 1/2 movement to the west?
Yes. And since Jaliera is following his instructions, she can too. But note a couple of things. Nobody can end up in a spot where someone else is. Bern is going the exact opposite way but you are on a collision course.
Of course, Bern can join you trying to get out of the way of the mud slide, which is what I think he wants to do.
Also, half movement will NOT get you or your horses out of harm's way.
Quote
Can you give me an up to date map for Zhu's turn?
I think we need to wait for Dugan, Gypsy and AJ to move their pieces on the map. I'll move Bern based on MikeD's request.
Note that if you zoom out on the map (ctrl-mouse scroll) you'll see that the canvas is large and there is room to move your tokens off the map.
He is wanting to move as fast as possible and yells at Bern to turn his horse around to try and get out of the way of the sliding mud, but looks like he will be just short of it.
[ooc: using dash I moved my character and horse icon 30 feet to the west, but looks like I'm just shy of getting out of the slides effect for next round. ]
Climbing a little higher up the tree (+15 - I adjusted her token on map) she finds a stable perch and directs an invisible line of psychic energy at the Hill Giant.
You drive a disorienting spike of psychic energy into the mind of one creature you can see within range. The target must succeed on an Intelligence saving throw or take 1d6 psychic damage and subtract 1d4 from the next saving throw it makes before the end of your next turn.
At Higher Levels. This spell’s damage increases by 1d6 when you reach certain levels: 5th level (2d6), 11th level (3d6), and 17th level (4d6).
Results: DC 16 Intelligence Save Psychic Damage 2d6 = 8 Saving Throw Penalty = 1
DM The first shot that Bern takes at the giant hits the top of a tree in the way and bounces away harmlessly. ooc: Sorry, with all the family stresses I forgot to say that Bern gets 2 attacks every round now. So he can take that second shot. The AC of the giant is 13 but Bern is unable to get somewhere that it doesn't have partial cover. The partial cover grants the giant +2 to AC so Bern needed a 15 to hit. So blow on those dice and roll a second time.
DM Indeed, Bern's second shot strikes true and wounds the Giant but he was unable to get inside the web prior to the mudslide.
And a surge of the mudslide hit. The flow is starting to slow but it's still a challenge and the more vulnerable are subject to getting swept away and getting pummeled by debris. Kriv watches in dismay as his horse is pushed into the raging river and is swept away, taking even more damage as it can't avoid the rocks and large roots of trees that line the river. It might be hopelessly lost.
I need strength saving throws from Bern, Bern's horse, Jaliera, Jaliera's horse, Davroar, Davroar's horse, Zindra, Zindra's horse, Pavel's horse and Zhu's horse. Those who fail will take 3 points of bludgeoning damage and get pushed 15' towards the raging water. Success is half damage or 1 point.
Kriv's horse automatically fails (because it was unconcious). The river takes it an additional 20 feet away and causes extra damage.
I ALSO need either dexterity or strength saving throws from Sindar, Aubric, Arus, Arus's horse and Boris the draft horse. A fail means they take the bludgeoning damage from debris that hits them. Success means they take 1 point of damage. You are safe from being pushed but cannot avoid damage. I decided to give you guys the choice of a dexterity save because you're in the web.
2nd round mudslide damage Neptune rolled 1d10 and got 3
I'll go for the hill giant when you've made all your rolls.
either dexterity or strength saving throws from Sindar, Aubric, Arus, Arus's horse and Boris the draft horse.
OOC: Reminder that Sindar, Arus, and Boris benefit from Aubric's Bless and have an extra 1d4 on attack rolls and saving throws. Sindar didn't need it but could have improved on 20
Aubric Str Save AquaDyne rolled 1d20+2 and got 19
Aubric can't avoid a log coming close enough to strike him, but he's able to push it out of the way with only a minor bruise to his arm.
Aubric Con save for concentration (after 1 point damage) AquaDyne rolled 1d20+5 and got 18
The log doesn't even distract him from maintaining his focus on Bless.
Aubric's horse Str save AquaDyne rolled 1d20+3 and got 11
OOC: opting to not use the inspiration dice for any of the rolls
