Miranda

She picks up on the tease too, a slight blush to her cheeks but she is smiling at Henri.

Ian

"I'll get you another drink Skye."

He grins at her as he stands and heads for the bar.

Henri

Miranda's smile is all he needs to decide on his course of action.

Seeing the opportunity to talk to Ian alone as he leaves for the bar, Henri will excuse himself to visit the men's room, but will stop to catch up to Ian first.

"Hey! Ian, my friend. Do you think you can hang out here for awhile? I'm thinking I'll invite Miranda to our room for a bit after a dance or two."

Ian

He winks at his friend.

"Sure thing. There is plenty of talent here. Might try my luck too."

Henri

He returns a big grin back to Ian and says, "Great! And thanks! I'm sure you will."

Disappearing to the men's room, he returns to their table, sitting back beside Miranda.

Playfully bumping his shoulder to hers he confidently asks , "Whenever they get a decent song going want to dance?"

[ooc: I hope there is a small dance area, or is this strictly a food/drinking establishment? ]

[OOC There is now a small dance area in the middle of the tables. Two couples are dancing.]

Miranda

"Nice to know you dance.." she grins at him. "I love dancing. How about this one?"

An old motown number comes on, a good beat and an old favourite. A few more get up to dance.

Emma

She took out her phone and took a few pictures of the pub and her friends, before putting it away. Memories of this trip. "Dancing sounds like fun, anyone else steady on their feet, or should we hold back for a moment and let Henri and Miranda steal the floor?"

Henri

While motown is not exactly his favorite genre, the song does have a good dance beat.

When Emma has her phone out to take pictures, he will make a goofy face in line with his clue character, as well as a more relaxed smile.

With a quick look over at the dance area to see other people dancing, he nods in agreement to Miranda. Quickly standing up while holding out his hand to help Miranda up, he says in a heavier fake accent, "Mademoiselle, would you care to dance with the professor?"

Miranda

She giggles, making a curtesy in her maid's costume.

"Oui, j'aime... dancing."

And she chuckles having made a hash of her French, reaching out to take Henri's hand.

Ian

Having arrived back with drinks, he grins at Emma.

"I'm up for a spin.. steadyish at the moment."

Emma

Emma grins at Ian. "So one spin about then? While you are somewhat steady?"

Ian

He nods his head in the direction of the dancers, carefully placing his pint on the table and says "after you" as he follows her onto the floor with a nod to Henri and Miranda who are already there.

"So.. do you come here often?"

He chuckles as he starts to dance. He is not the most agile of dancers but manages to move his arms and legs in an acceptable fashion.

Levon

He could see that the cavorting was starting. With a busy day planned for tomorrow, he was eager to work out and go to bed. The pint in his hand was only half finished so he took a sip and said, "I see that working out isn't everyone's plan ... at least not the workout I had in mind. I think I'll head to the gym and then to bed after this drink."

Emma

"Me? Oh I am such a regular here, can't you tell?" She smiled as she returned his levity. "What do you think of the opposition so far?"

Henri

With a laugh of his own, he takes Miranda's hand holding her close as they walk to the dance floor. He is a decent dancer, and the beer just makes it easier on his nerves to get him there. Once there he has to speak louder with the music, and says to Miranda, "I really enjoyed this whole night with you!"

Ian

"You mean the martial artists? My money would be on Levon and Skye."

He grins.

"I wonder if they have a sweepstake going. Might be worth a buy in."

Miranda

She moves well but then she is an athlete.

"Yes, it has really been fun. So many moments to remember. Our impromptu band. Sky trying to run in high heels. It is nice to feel a part of something."

She chuckles.

Levon
He downed his drink, stood up, waved to the others and headed out. It was a workout and bed for him.

Emma

"What uni doesn't have some sort of gambling thing going? The trouble is finding it, though, isn't it? I will leave finding them in your hands, but if you do, I would wager oh... £10 or so."

Ian

He nods, then waves back to Levon as he departs.

"We have a mission. Looks like Levon is calling it a night. Has to conserve his energy for the bouts I suppose. So what sort of music is your 'go to'?"

{Skye}

She had accepted the drink from Ian with a smile, but then he started to flirt with Em. Skye sighed. She deserved that. Not that she was interested in him, but it felt good to be flirted with even by a friend. So that left Levon, who was too serious for his own good tonight as the others started to head off to the dance floor.

Skye gave him a look that said....what did she want to say? He was probably right to focus on the tourney - but she just wanted to let go a bit. As he left, she simply said. "Be safe, my friend." But with too flip of a wave to say goodbye.

What was she thinking! But by then he was gone.

So, she did the next best thing. Downed her whisky and headed off to dance in her way too suggestive of an outfit and high heels. Perhaps she would purr again.

There are a group of three lads standing by the dancefloor, eying up the talent. As Skye starts to dance, they nudge each other and then the one in the centre, who is dark haired, tash, small tuft of a beard and full of confidece, steps forward and starts to dance with her. It is then she notices that he has bare feet. Still taller than Skye though.

"Hi"

He smiles and raises his voice to combat the music.

"I'm Josh."

Emma

"I like just about anything other than rap, but honestly pop is probably my go to genre for music. How about you?" Emma asks as they leave the dance floor and go towards the others.

Ian

"I like most music but tend towards rock and heavy metal."

He shrugs, almost an apology.

"Not so much to dance to though. Well not recognisable dancing, bit of head banging at gigs and the like."

He grins.

Henri

He will stay out on the dance floor with Miranda for at least two songs. There is a brief moment of no music and quickly asks with a smile and a wink, "Miranda? You want to go back to our table, or want to burn some more energy with me elsewhere?"

Miranda

"Elsewhere.. sounds interesting."

She gives him a shy smile but doesn't blush this time.

{Skye}

She turned to face the potential suitor, noting his barefoot and immediately recognizing her advantage with stilettos if things went sideways. Skye stopped her dance momentarily, and resisted the biting comments.

"Josh, you seem sweet - but I'm simply a girl's girl." She tried to smile sweetly herself before dismissing the come on. "I'm just here to dance a bit if that's okay."
