The weather is still lovely although the sun is starting to sink down in the sky. Still there should be 1-2 hours of daylight left. Buoyed by the exchange with Paul and Amanda, in addition to their good showing in the riddle solutions, spirits are high in the team. Across the road they spot the medical team, heading back the way they had just come. The mood there seems very different as they are walking in two distinct pairs with no conversation between them.

Just ahead they can see their destination.

Levon
"Steady girl. You're teetering! Am I gonna have to carry you and tuck you in again? I just don't wanna have to wait for you to finish praying to the porcelain throne."

He wasn't annoyed, just teasy. It wasn't the first time that Skye's been more than tipsy. He was used to her antics. It was his resolve to remain sober.

"Off to the train station!"

She stuck her tongue out petulantly at him. Then laughed. "I'll be good. Very good." She winked at the siblings as they headed off to the train station. It was fun to play Four Drink Amy sometimes.

It didn't take long for them to get to the next pub. She waved to the Medical Team just for spite, but felt lucky that she was with her friends. She would have to stick with water for the next few rounds though, she had to admit to herself.

Maybe they didn't see her but no-one returns Skye's wave. Then they disappeared around the corner and the Clue team were entering their next location. They are greeeted by three clowns in black and white outfits, two boys at the front and a girl at the back, though it is hard to see past all that white face paint and the large red noses. The girl at the back is holding a large bunch of baloons filled presumably with helium as they are floating.

The first boy grins.

"OK, you can have up to three baloons, each for a different person. Point for each that you burst with your bare hands. Who wants one?"

Emma

Emma rubs her hands over her outfit, hoping to pick up some static electricity before raising a hand. "I will give it a go."

"Anyone else?" he looks around before turning to Emma with a smile.

"What colour would you like?"

He gestures to the bunch behind him.

Emma

Em scrutinizes the balloons looking for one that might be filled just a touch more than the others, or at the very least avoiding the ones that were not filled as much. "Oh I will take that lavender one," she says, indicating the one in question.

He reaches back and gently tugs the string free, passing the balloon back to her.

[OOC 5 or 6 on a d6 to burst ]

Whether it was the static, or the fact that her clutch was particularly forceful... the balloon exploded with a satisfying >POP<. "Well that is one down."

[OOC Any more volunteers.. or just settling for 1 point?]

Levon

"Sure, I'll squeeze a balloon!"

[OOC roll a d6, 5 or 6 pops it ]

"Well done. Two down both on first attempts. Still one more point up for grabs!""

[OOC I know Lionhawke is busy, Dugan is absent and so is Ken. Game is on hold for now awaiting returns. ]

He smiles and steps forward to take a balloon.

"D'accord! Let me try..."

He struggles to squeeze the balloon with both hands, mushing it into various shapes and sizes but can't get it to pop.

"For F sakes, someone else want to try it?"

Miranda is laughing at him.

"Maybe a combined effort?"

She too has a try but this balloon is not for popping.

"I think you have given us a faulty one. Can we try again on that pink balloon."

The guy chuckles and swaps the balloons over.

Emma

Emma grins at Levon, but cheers her fellow Clue-mates on to victory. "You guys can do it!" she says with pep, "Pop that balloon!"

Henri

He gives a small pout to Miranda's for her laughing at him and says with a determined grin, "Ok let's try this together... You hold it like that at the end and I'll compress it like so."

Yet, it seems the pretty pink balloon evades his poor balloon popping technique even with Miranda's help.

"For the love of god, this is stupid! Skye? Ian? You want to try?"

The only people left to make an attempt are Skye or Ian.

"Is it cheating if I use my nails?" She flashed the fake nails she'd put on for the evening along with a wicked grin. "I can try as well, otherwise." She reached and pointed out a dark red balloon.

Ian

He watches the others make their attempt and selects a red balloon when it is his turn. Using both hands, he tries squeezing from the bottom up, hoping that pressure will help burst it but in the end is unsuccessful.

"Drats!"

The boy chuckles.

"And you were doing so well at the start! Maybe there is a gene for balloon popping?"

He hands back their card marked with a 2 and passes the usual envelope. This time though instead of a clue, it has an instruction.
