Miranda would notice he does not seem to be rich as he pulls out his rather thin money clip of now less-than 60 pounds to pay for the drinks. His arrangement with his sister and her husband though will take some explaining, as he does not want to appear to be a spoiled young man.
"No, no official loan. My sister is a professional musician and her husband is a music executive producer for Republic Records. They're doing well enough to pay for my university. He laughs at the thought of him trying to sing when Miranda mentions that.

"I'm studying Medical Engineering. I want to help people, save lives and all of that but I faint at the sight of blood. So I gave up on wanting to be a doctor. Swooning on the surgery floor is not a good look."
She laughs, relieving her tension.

Levon's faux drama did make her heart ache just a bit too. Skye really had a big crush on him last year, but somehow it just hadn't worked out with the way everything had gone. **Sometimes it's best to be just friends.** she had convinced herself. So - to play along...
