[ooc: Neptune, pardon me I misunderstood what you wanted. I did post Davroar's planned actions in previous post:
Quote
He returns a nod to Zhu and says, "Coming..." While it seems there is nothing bad happening at the moment he will take his time in climbing down the slippery rungs as he really does not want to fall and break something. Once he is down he will move to his left a few feet but will remain in the light provided.
In that he will take his time climbing down to avoid making a STR/DEX check and hopefully by the time he gets to the bottom there is room for him to step to the left of the ladder. Then on his next turn his plan is to move off to the side for Jaliera to come down and then ready his spell where he has ample view (to the limit of light provided) to summon his creatures. ]
The mystical energies Kriv had invoked earlier flared invisibly, a pressure felt rather than seen. The Dragonborn set his jaw and weathered whatever it was with a stoic glower.
"Trying to get into my head. Not a strategy that will work on us, but definitely an act of violence against us."
"The best defense is a strong offense", he said with a grin, remembering something he had learned from on of his early teachers. "But ... haste makes waste", he added. "So lets be sure that all other options are off the table."
DM Davroar has to move very slowly and carefully to reach the bottom of the shaft and enters the lower chamber. As he does, the first thing he sees is Kriv, who seemed to be struggling for just a moment but it is clear he won the struggle when he announced that something was "Trying to get into his head". The group already there has committed to conflict, ignoring the offer made to them. Sindar has not yet spoken up, not sure if he was actually called out by name, which he was, by who or what ever was speaking to them.
By now the group realizes that whatever was speaking to them was doing so inaudibly. It is heard in their heads. The audible noise that they hear is loud, painful screams. They hear it coming from behind the now-closed doors at the far end of the chamber (which those that can see in the dark - the elves, triton and half-elves).
OOC: Since combat is beginning, we'll go in initiative order (including foes some of you see): Zhu 24 Sindar 21 Bern 20 Davroar 18 Arus 11 Merrow 11 Kriv 3 Jaliera ???? Kuo-Tao Whip 2
I need Jaliera's initiative but she's technically not in combat. The graphic shows where everyone is. On the left is what those who don't have darkvision see. On the right is what those who do have nightvision can see.
Zhu gets to fire the first shot.

(OOC - So we cannot see the door in the middle, or is it closed?)
She moves straight ahead, suspecting it is more than likely the suspiciously open way is a trap, but not having any better way to reveal it than to spring it. She then points at the Merrow on the right. As she does, frost begins to form on its body.
Dexterity saving throw Zhuirentel Elendaril 16
Frostbite Cantrip (as 0) evocation Zhuirentel Elendaril Casting Time: 1 action Range: 60 feet Components: V, S Duration: Instantaneous You cause numbing frost to form on one creature that you can see within range. The target must make a Constitution saving throw. On a failed save, the target takes 1d6 cold damage, and it has disadvantage on the next weapon attack roll it makes before the end of its next turn. The spell’s damage increases by 1d6 when you reach 5th level (2d6), 11th level (3d6), and 17th level (4d6). vsM1 DC 15 Constitution saving throw Saving throw failure: 5 cold damage and Disadvantage on attacks
Sindar would comment "It's a trap!" if he could read Zhu's thoughts. Alas, all he can do is watch her actions, following along carefully behind her down the middle path toward the closed doors. As Zhu attacks the Merrow on the right, he turns toward the Merrow on his left, taunting it. "The only thing that smells worse than the shite down here is your fishy tail! When was your last bath that wasn't in sewage? Shouldn't you be out swimming in the ocean instead of standing on a walkway?"
Dexterity saving throw Sindar 10+6
Vicious Mockery cantrip enchantment Casting Time: 1 action Range: 60 feet Target: A creature you can see and that can hear you within range Components: V Duration: Instantaneous Classes: Bard You unleash a string of insults laced with subtle enchantments at a creature you can see within range. If the target can hear you (though it need not understand you), it must succeed on a Wisdom saving throw or take 1d4 2d4 (5th Level) psychic damage and have disadvantage on the next attack roll it makes before the end of its next turn.
OOC: OK. Bern goes. He can see one target, just barely, because of poor light. That is KTW2. Remember that you move 1/2 or have to make a dex save to not slip and fall.
(OOC - Aqua, actually they do. There is a method in D&D for you to bash your way thru walls, doors, etc. They have an AC and a # of HPs before the break. Usually it is faster for a Thief to pick a lock and open it though.
Nem - The monster was on the other side of the door in the middle area. It was open when Whisper flew in but it is now closed.)
