So last week strong storms hit all over the US. A little taste of Mother Nature showing us who's boss. Hope everyone was able to ride the storm out alright. But it brought to mind this song. Then curiosity struck and I found this little nugget about REO Speedwagon:
Quote
They named the band REO Speedwagon, from the REO Speed Wagon, a 1915 truck designed by Ransom Eli Olds. Neal Doughty had seen the name written on the blackboard when he walked into his History of Transportation class on the first day they had decided to look for a name. Rather than pronouncing REO as a single word as the motor company did ("REE-oh"), they chose to spell the word out, pronouncing each letter individually ("R-E-O").
So this week we will redefine REO... send me definitions and I hope to get the vote up by Wednesday.
Vote coming soon... Got 8. One player who I thought was dropping out stayed in and another new player. Maybe for the week maybe for more we'll see how it goes
