It topples over, the smug look of superiority frozen on it's face. Chandan has an action, if he wants it, although there are no enemies in sight presently. With the fight now raging behind, Chandan stays on guard at the front.
The argument beyond the door suggests more than one foe is present, but one old man, however blessed by good luck and supported by Bern's archery and Ryssa's healing, is not sufficient to storm a room.
Especially when the shushing suggests the foes are prepared.
Chandan might perhaps buy the party some slight advantage.
"You in there," He says to the door, "we seek the bastard Iarno Glasstaff! He has betrayed us to the Lord's Alliance and fled while his men died.

It sounded like the immediate threat had been handled. Then Chandan tried his 'bluff'. He just shook his head. He doubted that those behind the door would be that stupid, but he =had= seen stranger things. In any event, he continued to cover the (east) door.

It was his intention to over to the western door and open it. As a practitioner of the Art, chanting of that nature was not a good sign.
If we are still in initiative order, this will wait. She can't see where everyone is but she can see the start of two assaults on two different doors. Not a good idea.
