Then she nods, accepting the will of the majority.
"Then I will go first with Whisper and scout. Watch the rear. They may be able to circle behind us."
She still has spells, Whisper can see into the dark, she can find and disarm traps and open locks. Who better to go first?
She moves the the door, ready.

The old monk stays close to the others, careful not to proke anyone with his spear, at least anyone not asking for it.
It suddenly seems like a silly thing to wield in the confines of a castle and he has a momentary vision of him snapping his spear in half across his knee, then attacking goblins with two furious cudgels.
But then Chandan visualises his leg breaking instead, and him hopping around trying to fight off goblins on one leg.
He's had his spear for a long time, it seems to him, having come by it soon after leaving his mountain. As rusty and crude as it is, it would be wasteful to break it and ungrateful to throw it away.

He had proven that he can't see the little buggers quite as well as he might like. She looks at the group taking positions behind her. Looks like there is no argument about her leading and it seems they are almost ready.
[OOC is the door open? If so Jaliera will go down on her hands and knees and peer around it close to ground level, thinking they will be expecting something at human head height. And then duck back!]

She then listens hard, to try and determine if any of the little buggers are hiding nearby and she determines that they are not. She has looked to the left, now she needs to check to the right. Her thoughts currently is to get someone to watch in one direction whilst they proceed in another. But first she needs to know what is to the right. Again using stealth, she moves forward a little, watching for traps and peeps around to the right, asking Whisper to continue to watch left just in case.

The ranger and rogue both manage to advance stealthily and not alert the enemy. They see a long hallway, filled with rubble from a collapses ceiling above. To the north, straight ahead, they see light pour that pours into a collapsed tower ahead. That is where Davroar had found a concealed entrance to the castle. The party had opted for the front door. No enemies are revealed.

While waiting he will as fast as he can quietly move some of the plates and cups from the tables and place them right behind the two closed doors that they went through. If the goblins or others try to come at them from behind, hopefully it will make enough noise to alert them.
