"Does Cragmaw castle sounds familiar? That is where we believe Gundren was taken." He watched the druid for any sign of his feelings. The dragon sounded like something that could get them killed, and not directly lead to Gundren. He was not driven by gold so it wasn't his first choice, but he could say that later.

He made a scrunchy face when he felt Bern's hand on his shoulder. He did not want to be shushed but he took a deep breath and calmly asked again, "So, about this dragon....."
For the moment Grunden wasn't at the top of his priority list. Gold always came first.
"You can wait a bit to get that info", he said quietly to Lingo. "Of course, you =would= be going after the dragon on your own", he added with a wicked grin.
She closed her eyes and searched her memory before attempting an answer.
" A Sister Garaele asked us to go to the lair of a Banshee and ask her for information about a Spellbook belonging to a legendary mage named Bowgentle," she said, ticking off the things she brought up on her fingers.
" TheTownmaster has asked us to take care of Orc Raiders near Wyvern Tor."
"And then there was something about the Old Owl Tree."
"He hired us and then went missing. His caravan was ambushed by goblins. Though we are beginning to suspect a larger conspiracy, given the fact he was spirited away." He had other suspicions but he was unwilling to voice them to one so unknown to them, even if he did love nature as much as the Green Paladin did.
The halfling was bothered by the fact that his treasure was being ignored...well, the dragon's treasure for now. But he remembered Bern's hand on his shoulder. It was a reminder to stay focused on other things. It was tough. Treasure was everything. So he thought about it a moment and he thought back to other stories of treasure and wealth that was tied to this Gundren fellow and remembered something.
"Hey, did you ever hear about the Wave Echo Cave? We were told you can make magic things there and that Gundren knew about it."
A considering light comes into Reidoth's eyes and he pauses a moment, stroking his beard.
"I can give you directions to Cragmaw", and he takes a writing stick and draws on the stone floor. "It is here, near the southwest corner of the woods."
He looks again at Lingo. "I know where Wave Echo Cave is as well. I will offer you a trade. If you chase off the Green Dragon from the tower for me, I will take you there whenever you are ready to go."
He looks over to Luminmorn. "I presume you would want to go to Cragmaw first to rescue this Gundren? I will be heading to Phandalin shortly to visit Quelline and her boy. You can meet me there and I will show you the way."
His lips tighten against his teeth when Lingo lets out the one piece of information the dragonborn was trying not to say. Yet they hadn't discussed it, and the druid knew about the cave, which was useful. Seemed odd that so many people were searching for it, yet so many knew about it too. Many more questions than answers, to be considered by the paladin.
"I must confer with my companions. But that would be the order I would prefer, yes," he agreed.
Lingo He was just to jump up and answer YES when Lumi stepped in and wanted a conference. So, instead of letting out his blurt, the halfling took a deep breath and turned to look up to the giant lizard. "Sounds like a good deal to me..." he muttered under his breath.
(OOC - Just to clarify, since the Druid will be leaving here soon he wants you to chase off the Green Dragon now, before he leaves for Phandalin. Then he presumes you would want to go to Cragmaw to look for Gundren, and then meet him in Phandalin so he can show you to Wave Echo, presuming you agreed to chase off the Dragon before you left.)
"Yeah. I'm good with that. We get rid of the dragon, you give us the info, we march off to save Grunden and have directions to the Wave Echo Cave for later. Sounds like a fair deal. Are we all in agreement?"
He wasn't particularly enamored by the idea of confronting a dragon, even a young one. But it seemed like the best way to get what they wanted from the druid. He nodded, accepting the consensus of the group.
