The goblin slinks away from the arrow that points in it's direction and speaks to Jaliera. "Droop help good humans. Droop be friend. No fighter. No kill Droop. No kill Mosk. Mosk one-eye know Castle find!"
The goblin might not realize that it had just revealed the fact that it did not know exactly where the Castle was, but it was a goblin and not too smart.
It moved up the steps quickly, as the woman's had told him to.

Those in the cavern can see the bugbear appear and move up to the foot of the far footbridge.
Initiative please...and if you roll higher than an 8, take your actions. Some of you need to come into the field of play to attack.
He will move up and wait behind Chandan to his right hoping that the others with ranged attacks can get in a few attempts to hit it before engaging in melee.
He snarled, and advanced out of the stairwell. The miserable scrap of battered goblinflesh had lied to save itself, and that did not enamour it to the Dragonborn.
"Only the Bugbear needs be alive," he called out, as he sized up their remaining foe. Hmm. Bugbear fur looked rather flammable, all things considered...

He isn't entirely sure how best to catch a bugbear alive, but encircling it had to be a start.
He shambled forwards and hid behind the rocky pillar. If the bugbear charges the stairs, he could flank it. If it tries to flank him, it will have the chasm at its back. But being a bugbear, Chandan thought it most likely the creature would flee and there wasn't much he could do about that, other than pursue.
Well the others had heard the goblin, so no point in her saying more. At this point she has no idea how many there are. Her ears suggest not too many as there is not that much noise.
She needs to get out of the corridor so she can see what to shoot at. Kallista is bringing up the rear and should be able to keep an eye on the goblin.
She moves forward looking for a vantage point behind her groups front line.
Jaliera Initiative Gypsy rolled 1d20+3 and got 17
She sees the bugbear, targets him but does not fire. Is this their source of information?
Kriv attacks the bugbear, trying to cast a firebolt at it, but he missed AC 16. Davroar does not attack the bugbear but waits for others to take range attacks. Just as Jaliera comes into the action a short, dark-bearded human male in robes that wears a princely mantle of ermine and carries a beautiful glass staff starts running from the northern entrance into the cavern on the other side of the crevass. He makes it all the way out of the cavern and into a hallway in the south east and is about to turn right and go south, out of view.
You all discussed the fact that the bridge to the south is rigged to collapse under any weight. The bugbear now blocks the only other way across.
ooc: Dugan and Gypsy, when you move during your turn, you are taking it completely. So I am taking this to mean that you are not attacking this round. You could add a reaction like "I attack if he approaches" or "I chase him if he flees" that become reactions that are this-round actions. That kinda looks like what you're doing Gypsy "if he charges, Jaliera will fire".
I'm trying to move things forward in a non-tabletop setting but it's tough. The "wizard" that appears does so AFTER Kriv and Davroar went but at the same time as Jaliera. I'll allow Gypsy to revise her action somewhat. Kalista and Chandan have yet to go so you can adjust your actions.
Moving up the stairs (put her in any open spot south of the pillar, or right next to Chandan if the stairs are difficult terrain), she takes in the situation and brings a spell to mind, casting it quickly. (OOC - Casting Sleep using a 2nd level Spell Slot. Targeting the Wizard. Should be able to easily put it where it gets him but not us. Kallista Casting Sleep (2nd level slot) Zeim rolled 7d8 and got 38)
She had been watching the bugbear, not wanting to attack if they need information from it. However movement on the far side catches her eye and she sees a mage running. She changes target, ready to fire at the first opportunity.
Kallista shows up just in time to send the fleeing mage into a deep slumber. He falls unconscious. The bugbear, unaware that the mage is asleep, but having noticed him running and now having been attacked again, turns and runs over the bridge and turns to follow him. It figures it can outrun you. When it turns the corner and sees the the mage on the ground, it just runs over the mage to flee. OOC: Jaliera's reaction can kick in now.
She had been targeting the mage until he simply falls over. The bugbear now charges past the fallen figure and startled she changes target and looses an arrow. It misses. She curses softly under her breath.

Every so often, the vagrant displayed a flash of insight which reaffirmed his usefulness. This was one of those times: Kriv followed suit, powerfully leaping across the chasm and landing at speed, calling on deeper reserves to head off the Bugbear, block his escape and swing the maul at him.
Leap across chasm. Use Action Surge to move past Bugbear to block the southern corridor if possible, stand over the downed W if not.

Putting his trust more in the speed of a large bear than its jumping ability, he will take the safer, yet longer route of crossing the same bridge the bug bear did. Running it down, he will attempt to strike from behind using his claws to possibly hamstring the bug bear to stop it from getting away.
However, if Kriv does get there first or will be in the way of his charge, Davroar will hold up to avoid colliding with Kriv in the narrow confines of the corridor.

[ooc: Davroar cannot make it to the bugbear this round taking the route he took. In fact, it'll take him 3 rounds moving 8 squares at a time.]

The bugbear expected that anyone who would run over the bridge would fall into the crevasse but when Chandan and Kriv leaped towards him and he saw the wizard fall asleep on the ground, it knew that it's only hope of survival was to give up.
It didn't matter that both the monk and the dragonborn missed. The party had magic at it's disposal and competent archers. It stopped, threw the morningstar to the ground and raised it's hands to surrender.
Covering her companions as they all leap into action she is relieved to see that the bugbear seems to have surrendered. Her tension eases a little but she keeps the bow at readiness just in case.
Seeing the bugbear's armed raised in surrender, the old monk has an almost irrestiable urge to kick the creature solidly in the gonads and teach it a lesson.
It's the latter aspect that deters him though, as he's unsure what exactly that lesson would be. Next time keep running? Chandan didn't want goblinoids learning that lesson.
So instead, he grumbles in his native tongue, something about 'needing a drink' and after recovering his spear, he inspects the sleeping wizard with the tip of it.
Finding the narrowest spot in the chasm, she takes a running start and leaps across. She moves quickly over to the sleeping figure and takes up the staff it carried to keep it out of it's reach when it awakens.
Mosk cowers now under the gaze of the icy glare of the dragonborn. A snarl might set him to tears. It falls to it's knees and covers it's head with it's arms, both a sign of fear and one of total submission. It knows that it's life is now in the hands of someone scarier than the Black Spider. ooc: props for the nat-20
"I only do what the Black Spider made me do! We were just following orders and those who don't follow orders always die!"
A pitiful sight this is now. The big bugbear with the jewel encrusted eyepatch weeps openly.
"Spare your poor servant. I beg you."
It does not need prodding. After it gasps air between sobs it continues.
"I will take you to Cragmaw Keep!"
Meanwhile, Kallista picks up the glass staff of the sleeping wizard and looks it over. It's a slender, hollow staff but she can tell that it's as hard as oak. She will have to study it more to learn about it and how to use it.
Chandan now stands over the wizard ready to poke and prod him awake. First he takes a closer look. The man fit the description of the person that they were sent to find by Sildar.
On the other side of the chasm Davroar is makes his way across the northern bridge. Jaliera nocks and covers arrow into her bow to cover those who are leaping across. Now that the battle has ended, she relaxes again and then glances back and realizes that Droop is not to be found. In one brief moment that Jaliera had focused her attention on the battle across the chasm, Droop must have slipped into the shadows.

He stops running just as he crosses the north bridge when it is evident that the bug bear has surrendered to Kriv and the others.
Instead since he is at the far end of the basement, he will turn north to check out the area that the bug bear appeared from. He will be cautious nonetheless, using his keen sense of smell to warn him of any further attackers.
In some ways she hopes not. They have potentially two prisoners to deal with, a third would really curtail their opportunities. Her only concern is that he might unblock the door down and to the right behind her and raise the alarm.
She decides for the moment to stay where she is but positions herself to watch the corridor and the steps behind her as well as covering her companions.
