I didn't actually expect him to follow right now, just to show up at dusk. Was just looking for a nod, or in case he said anything to offer a reply. No big deal. | | | | Joined: Jul 2011 Posts: 7,944 Sower of Insanity Moderator | Sower of Insanity Moderator Joined: Jul 2011 Posts: 7,944 | Hmmm. Expecting an Old Jvrillian to show up at a Dayalan Temple... is... Oh, gosh, look. I had to reboot my brain! I'm not saying it COULDN'T happen. It might give poor Dazi a heart attack, though, from the shock and surprise. Thought Donner would pick it up, though. He is pretty sharp. If he wanted to get rid of the Old Jvrillian it was a perfect opening for him. He might even have been somewhat mollified towards Mikal by the gesture. | | | | Joined: Jul 2011 Posts: 7,944 Sower of Insanity Moderator | Sower of Insanity Moderator Joined: Jul 2011 Posts: 7,944 | Eh, Old Jvrillians... they're gonna do whatever they're gonna do. Meh.

Leaving Sat morning 7/14 and not returning until 7/22. A small chance for me to have access on Wed, 7/18, but that is likely it during that time. | | | | Joined: Jul 2011 Posts: 5,667 Moderator | OP Moderator Joined: Jul 2011 Posts: 5,667 | Are you teaching the Wilderness to Survive? | | | | Joined: Jul 2011 Posts: 7,944 Sower of Insanity Moderator | Sower of Insanity Moderator Joined: Jul 2011 Posts: 7,944 | Something needs to survive the Zombie Apocalypse.

Unfortuantely, the Wilderness has the IQ of, well of a plant. | | | | Joined: Jul 2011 Posts: 5,667 Moderator | OP Moderator Joined: Jul 2011 Posts: 5,667 | As my last attempt to move the game forward was not well received, I am just waiting for the current conversation to finish out and clear direction from you folks as to your next actions and desire to move on.
As for next actions I have a general post from Kadri and Darian as to what they have planned for tonight. I have a general idea of what Daxia wishes to do tonight, however, her only current action is to take a bath. If these were cleaned up and made into definitive action post, either public or private, it would help make the next GM post be something more than equally vague.
Yes, as pointed out by Mikal and on the tower's posted illustration, it does have a crenelated platform at the top.
Cesare is still conversing and I have not had any clear direction concerning Bekkah or Dean (well except that Dean follows Bekkah). We are also waiting on Mikal.
Once we have what you want to do next clearly posted from each of you I'll be able to post again.

One would be knife throwing, but some things I can't really plan without at least a rough ballpark distance ... | | | | Joined: Jul 2011 Posts: 5,667 Moderator | OP Moderator Joined: Jul 2011 Posts: 5,667 | the problem with knife throwing is that these are heavily armored foes ... you may hit but you have to impale or critical hit to get through it.
The tower is about fifty feet tall to the crenelations ...
two of the outriders - mikal's and the one with two arrow hits ... are near the tower base ... the avatar and daxia's are about ten to fifteen feet away and the two other outriders - dean's and the crossbowman ... are about ten feet further away .... | | | | Joined: Sep 2000 Posts: 61,264 Likes: 3 Arssanguinus Moderator | Arssanguinus Moderator Joined: Sep 2000 Posts: 61,264 Likes: 3 | Well. As I feared, there is pretty much nothing I can do up here. Hmm. There are no chances of arrow slits any farther down, are there? | | | | Joined: Sep 2000 Posts: 61,264 Likes: 3 Arssanguinus Moderator | Arssanguinus Moderator Joined: Sep 2000 Posts: 61,264 Likes: 3 | Way back when, I mentioned several times picking up some pepper, hot pepper, or some other powdered irritant ... Can I presume I have actually done so in the interim? | | | | Joined: Jul 2011 Posts: 5,667 Moderator | OP Moderator Joined: Jul 2011 Posts: 5,667 | yup for the spices! and yes, arrows slits on every floor (3 floors + turret top) | | | | Joined: Jul 2011 Posts: 5,667 Moderator | OP Moderator Joined: Jul 2011 Posts: 5,667 | Since one of you asked ...
To clarify; the intent of the post was to tie up the loose ends of "things we have to do tasks" which, in general, were very simple and straight forward.
Now we can move on to "things we think would be neat to do" ... at least that is my hope, especially since Midwinters is coming up.
And yes, the time is "approaching Noon." When I post from work it's a very rapid between sandwich bites kind of thing.
thus:
Cesare and Darion - arrow shafts and arrowheads taken care of. Mikal - has a new sword and knows where the gambling house is. Daxia - morning prayers and gather stuff for Lady Kay done. A new saddle, not done, but I'm still trying to decide ofn Morning Star's tastes. Bekkah and Dean - the tasks at the Hospice are done so you can return to the town and join your friends! be social, interact, create even more rumors! Camelia - probably asleep. Kadri and Romana - invcestigating the letter; but we need Kadri to say how she is going to try doing this. That and deal with the nice compliments.
There's also interesting gossip, as you should have read.
Your turn!

I have a plethora of questions regarding said saddle, which I will discuss at some point when I once gain become sane. Ish. I know things have been found along the way but I don't know if anything has sold or any monies handed out. So my guess is that he cannot afford the crossbow on offer by a long way. Just need confirmation before I post. | | | | Joined: Oct 2001 Posts: 22,175 Likes: 8 (Buffalo) Moderator | (Buffalo) Moderator Joined: Oct 2001 Posts: 22,175 Likes: 8 | We found lots of jewelry, but never got a value on it.
