When your turn comes up, please, everyone make a constitution save. This one is against disease. Arus and Jaliera need not. This seems very similar to Quote I also need Con saves (DC 14) from all of you. Making that save means you didn't swallow water. If you did swallow water, you will be vomiting shortly. We'll call this a "disease" so Arus is immune. So I am confirming that the save against disease that Sindar already rolled meets this requirement.
Zhu also rolled (and failed) a con save in this post per your previous instructions, but now that you've clarified the "swallowing water" intermediate step leading to the disease, that brings up the question of whether water breathing potion prevents swallowing water and avoids the need to roll at all. Posted By: Zeim- Fri Feb 04 2022 05:14 PM (OOC - It could go either way here, although I would think a ruling that the Magic of the Water Breathing potion protects you from harmful contents of ingesting that water is not unreasonable.) Posted By: AquaDyne- Fri Feb 04 2022 06:13 PM (OOC - while Nep is ruling on that he can also tell us whether we can cast verbal spells under water.) Posted By: Zeim- Fri Feb 04 2022 06:47 PM (OOC - Yes. That is answered definitely by Jeremy Crawford. If you have Water Breathing no issues. If not, you get to cast one spell and then you begin drowning as you will ingest water to do it.) Usually when I ask for that in advance, I'll remind you on your turn. If it's immediate, I ask for it immediately. I guess I wasn't clear. If there's a chance the situation is mitigated or eliminated, you shouldn't provide advance rolls. For instance, if the flow was stopped, the pools magically drained or someone starts flying, the roll isn't needed. As for spellcasting under water, it works - even verbal, as per Jeremy E. crawford. Water breathing potion does NOT prevent you from ingesting the harmful water. Being submerged in this water means you need to make the save. Please post rule discussions, questions and the like here, not in the main thread. It gets difficult to track things.

Perhaps 3X3 horizontally at the bottom of the pool and then its head stretching upwards. BTW, presuming Zhu is still alive when its her turn again what do I need to do to account for the 3D effect of creature placement for spells that are Rays/Lines? Creatures on the map are depicted in a 2D view.) Moving all these to the OOC thread. I need to unclutter the game thread. You can tell me your plan and I'll work with you but we're not taking out protractors or 3D modeling apps.

At the time that I posted for changing into the giant snake I was going by the previous map in post #1025837 and thought I had plenty of room. In any case I have no issue with how you have arrange the display of Davroar's token. Thanks. | | | | Joined: May 2000 Posts: 18,012 Likes: 2 Moderator | OP Moderator Joined: May 2000 Posts: 18,012 Likes: 2 | Dugan, if you look at that map, except for Oosith moving, nothing changed and a 3x3 area could not fit in exchange of Davroar. 2x2 yes, 3x3 no.

Maybe we should open a seafood restaurant!

My son AND my brother came to stay at our house because we were hosting a baby shower for my other son and his wife Saturday and then Sunday was the Superbowl which, of course we had to handle and yesterday I had an inspection of my pool heater which failed because permits were missing for the electrical and plumbing work, had repair men coming to fix a coolant leak for my brand new heater, had to drive my brother and his wife to the airport, had to be here for the pool guy that had to repair pipe seals that were undone, etc. It was just 3 or 4 days of blur!
Anyhow, I owe apologies for "rushing" my posts. Dugan, when your crabs "orient" themselves as a result of being prone, they use half their movement and can act, meaning, attack. So if you so choose (I don't know why you wouldn't want to) you may move 1/2 their moves attack for the ones that stood up.

Healing Word is a Bonus Action, with a range far enough to cover Kriv, and does not interfere with your action of drinking the potion. A little slow on responding to this from 2 weeks ago. Yes, I could have. However, I'm attempting to follow pre-set rules for ghosting, and when I cast it didn't realize it was a "once per day" thing. Were I playing for myself I'd have sucked up the mistake as a lesson learned. But since I'm just filling in I should not have done that. Related, if the party wants Sindar to attack someone/thing on his next turn, he'd probably do so, because left to decide for himself he'll probably just get pissed at whoever stabbed him in the groin (ouch). | | | | Joined: Jun 2002 Posts: 10,340 Likes: 1 Administrator | Administrator Joined: Jun 2002 Posts: 10,340 Likes: 1 | Neptune, I was not sure of the ruling with the crabs being prone if they could attack or not in the same round. I will definitely have the four attack. | | | | Joined: May 2000 Posts: 18,012 Likes: 2 Moderator | OP Moderator Joined: May 2000 Posts: 18,012 Likes: 2 | BTW, starting with Zhu's turn next round everyone is completely under water unless you do something to NOT be under water. And in 2 more rounds the entire chamber will be filled with no air above.

I have no issues with the use of a once a day power to help out a fellow PC who is wounded.

As for the healing, it can also be used to revive someone who's unconscious at 0 HP, possibly a better use of it particularly if the "mostly dead" person is rather important to storming the castle. | | | | Joined: May 2000 Posts: 42,163 Likes: 5 Member | Member Joined: May 2000 Posts: 42,163 Likes: 5 | Works for me!
