Netflix is dropping a new movie in the Fear Street trilogy every Friday! It began on July 2nd, part two comes out July 9th, and the final installment July 16th.
What can I say about this show? Pretty easy to follow storyline. Evil dead witch has cursed a town. Every once in a while killers emerge, kill, and are put down. Yes, Shadyside is where all the bad stuff happens (why do people stay?!?) while neighboring town of Sunnyvale is crime free. Suspicious? Oh, my, yes!
Gore level: Some gory scenes. Acting level: Teen Slasher should say it all. Fun level: Medium to medium high.
Part 1 starts in 1994 Part 2 continues the story in 1978 Part 3 who knows what date that is continued in.
And yes, Part 2 takes place before Part 1 as the survivors of Part 1 meet up with survivors of Part 2.
I admit it. I liked the movie! I am happy that the others parts will be shown quickly. I have plans Friday night with friends, but after I ditch them... I mean when the night is over, I am looking forward to seeing Part 2!
I grew up reading the books which might explain my dark side where I love supernatural slasher movies especially when teenagers are hunted down and fight back.
