The Nevers is described as "an epic science fiction drama about a gang of Victorian women who find themselves with unusual abilities, relentless enemies, and a mission that might change the world."
I am looking forward to watching the first episode tonight (or maybe tomorrow night when I have a bit more time). The premise looks interesting. Part Miss Peregrine's Home for Unusual Children part low-key superhero mix, I am curious to see the newest offering from HBO.
Plus, a Victorian setting? I am all in! (at least for the first episode).
i want to see this- bu... don't have hbo or hbo max- already have too many streaming services for me to keep directv... can't see m to make the leap and cut the cord completely. if there was an intermediary service that i could set up to collect all the episodes from all the shows i enjoy (to which I am properly subscribed that is) and bring to them to one place- so that i didn't have to keep hunting through all the various services to see if anything new has dropped... hmmm... there needs more thought on this... new shows that i wouldn't know about yet, would have to be filtered through as well...
anyway, just wishful thinking... if i can finally get around to upgrading my hulu package to get my broadcast shows, then directv would be gone. (comes with some cloud space to record) I think that's the last hurdle.
PP you might look into making a server of some kind to act as a frontend to collate with schedules and grab what you want. I don't know if Myth TV has anything like that. Heck, I don't know if anyone does. But it is a good idea.
As far as The Nevers, very interested.

Just waiting for NetFlix to get it <g> They are the only 'on line media' that I subscribe to. Keeps me 'busy' enough that I don't need to go looking for anyone else <wink>
Alright, I watched it. Seems like an ambitious project, but I think they can pull it off! I loved the characters, each one different with their own quirks.. no 'cookie cutter' collective here. The actors chose for the parts have truly made the characters their own.
So far, one episode in, loving the show!
Great premise, enough unanswered questions to keep it intriguing as the story unfolded.
Second episode in, still intrigued. Some of the twists (especially the one at the end of episode 2) were easy to see coming, but I am enjoying watching and seeing where the show is going to take me.
We watched the first episode last night. I thought I'd like it - but enjoyed it even more than I expected. And surprised my wife was into to it as well. We loved the chemistry between Amalia and Penance. Fast friends! And the steampunk was very fun. Look forward to more.
I think my favorite song from the finale was The Beatles, "We Can Work It Out" - the different vocal range, and story, made me appreciate it so much more.
I did have to laugh and cringe at the CGI Golden Gate Bridge. I know they're all trapped in Vancouver - but really?!? I guess it must be that Stanley Park - San Francisco vortex that we've all been expecting.
