Features my favourite Éponine. I actually saw that same actress in that same role live in the West End years back.

I loved everything about that film except Crowe's singing which was passable and better than I could do.

But Anne Hathaway was brilliant as Fantine and connects to more other actors!

S.O.B. (with the dots) is the actual title of the movie. It is an acronym revealed in the movie.

It stands for Son of a .... If you have not seen it, it's a fun Blake Edwards movie (Julie's husband at the time) about an actress (Julie) who made her fortune and fame by playing family favorite characters when the 80s hit and suddenly the interest in family movies went down and sex-comedies were the box office hits. What is the world's sweetheart to do? Find out in S.O.B.

okay, i chuckled when i saw this one played because Mina is always good for a tough one.

i know two more actors in this besides julie andrews. one has a much more notable resume of films but SOB was his last film i think. but this might not be much help if this actor doesn't trigger anyone's memory... a bit of downward spiral...i don't know, maybe you guys have it all figured out.

the other is a very well known character actor but, as is the way with character actors- you know their face and not necessarily their name.

here's the deal... i know 2... quick public poll-- older leading actor w/ older movies... or well known character actor????

I'd probably stand a better chance at an older leading actor.

in all honesty, i think more people will know the character actor's movies- some of which are well known... but it is a matter of putting a name to a face and realizing where else they've seen this character actor. unless they are 50s, 60s, and 70s film buffs then the older actor might be just the ticket

I once made a point of watching all the Academy Award Winning best pictures over that time period, so while I'm not an old film buff I might recognize Oscar winners. If that helps.

If I remember right I belive William Holden was in that. I remember seeing it at the theater and being a bit shocked.

He was also in the older version of Sabrina.

I had another movie I could have used with Holden that could have bounced us toward our only hope, but I suppose Sabrina will have to do.

I actually prefer the Sabrina remake to the older one, but Audrey Hepburn was quite the star!

Aqua... I love the original!!!! I liked the remake, but Bogie was amazing ...

However Audrey was also in CHARADE!
