Brining is a technique that seals in the juices. We'll see how it goes

Driveways are good (not blacktop though, oil based tar burns), with a Fire extinguisher handy. However, if you do it right (with really hot oil) it makes the best turkey I've ever tasted. If you do it wrong, it makes a terrible tasting turkey.
